*Casey's POV*

I was pissed off at Lauren how dare she say that about my son, Gabby was right I didn't care if she talked shit about me but dont ever talk about my son. I did wrong by leaving Gabby but now that I was back I wanted her back and I would do anything to get her back. As of last night I took the first step by breaking off my engagement with Lauren. I finally realized that I was actually using her try to forget Gabby but I couldn't Gabby would always be in my heart. She was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I just hope that she would forgive me and that we could be a family again.

It felt so right being her with her having her in my arms just holding her, I just had to get back my family they were everything to me. I had to do everything in my power to get her back, I knew I was the man for her but I was scared that I let her down that she wouldn't want me anymore and there is also Clarke who I know for a fact has feelings for her and he was going to give up so easy. Before I knew it I heard her lightly snoring and knew that she had fallen asleep. "I love you Gabby" I whispered as I kissed her on top of her head and then fell asleep too. The next morning I woke up to see that Gabby was no longer with me on the bed. I looked around the room and didn't see her I thought she was in the restroom but was shocked when the door of the room opened and in walked Gabby with some bags.

"Good morning" she said as she set the bag on the table, "Morning where have you been?" I asked her as I got up from the bed as she began to take out the containers from the bags. "I called Laura in the morning and she did me the favor of bringing me some food oh and doctor finally said I could go home Andy still has to stay but I could still visit him everyday." she explained. I didn't say anything I was still shocked but snapped out of it when I could smell the food by the way smelled delicious. "You must be starving you really didn't eat last night" she told me. I gave her a shy smile and nodded "Yea actually I am" she handed me a plate full of food already. I was actually surprised to see the food, eggs with ham, sausages, toasted bread, bacon, with orange juice. "It smells amazing" I said as we both sat down and began to eat I couldn't help but moan this was delicious.

She looked at me with an amused look "It seems like you haven't had any food in a long time" she said, after chewing the food I had I looked at her "Well take out if good but home made food is way better and it has been a while since Ive had this kind of food" I said which was true. Lauren was not a good cook so she didn't cook which meant take out. She smiled at me and we kept on eating in silence, not an awkward silence but a comfortable silence, I enjoyed her company. After eating I went to get ready to go see Andy and then I had to leave early because I had to talk to Chief Boden and see if I could get more day to miss work. After both of us were ready we walked to Andy's room but it was empty and I could tell that Gabby began to get worried so I laced our hands together and then I seen a nurse pass by and I stopped her. "Excuse me were looking for our so and he isn't here" I told her.

"Oh yes Andrew Dawson right?" and we both nodded our heads, they took him to get an MRI to make sure everything is okay with him they just took him before you got here so it would be awhile" she said and with that she walked away. I could tell Dawson relaxed as she settled down on a chair.  At first we didn't say anything we just stayed quiet "So where will you go now?" she asked me and I looked at her confused. "You told Lauren that you would be moving last night" she said. "Oh that um Im not sure actually I was thinking about asking Severide to let me stay with him and Renee until I found a place but Im not sure I really dont want to you know..." I hope she knew what I meant I really didn't want to be living with a couple who well had sex it would just make things uncomfortable.

"Well I was actually thinking of a better solution it will actually benefit both of us" she said and now I was intrigued to hear her so I nodded my head for her to continue. "We um I have an extra room and Andy just loves having you around and I know you want to be near him and I well honestly I dont want to be alone so I was thinking maybe you can stay with us, until well you find a place of course" she said. I had to be honest I was not expecting this I was speechless. I was about to answer her but then we heard something by the door and they were rolling Andy on a wheelchair. "momma, daddy" he said and could see how happy he was to see us. "Hi baby, how you feeling?" Dawson asked him after the nurse left with the wheelchair. "Good but I miss home I want to leave already when can I leave?" he asked us. "Not for a while son but I got great news, how would you like it if I lived with you and momma?" I asked him.
