Chapter 44: Epilogue

[NOT EDITED]

*5 Months Later*

"Andrew Matthew Casey get your butt down here before I come up for you" a very upset 8 month pregnant Gabby screamed at her son. "Just one more month" she told herself, this time it was a bit difficult for Dawson having a six year old son to care for. Matt had work which was why he wasnt here with her right now. Gabby didn't have to work for a few months because of she got leave of absence which started last week.

They had just moved into their new home which was a four bedroom three restroom house. Matt of course wanted a bigger house because he said that when they would have more children of course Gabby wanted more children but for right now she was okay with having two children for right now. So after going back and forth arguing Matt granted Gabby's wishes and bought that house. Gabby was under a lot of pressure because they still haven't finished the baby's room, they had barely finished painting the room of course they painted it pink but nothing else was set not even the crib and they only needed one more month for their baby girl to be born. They were so busy moving that they didn't even have the chance to celebrate Christmas at home they ended up going over her parents house and even stayed at Severide's place for a week while Casey fixed their new home.

After Andy finished eating he went to get his backpack because it was his first day of school after winter break, after Danielle picked him up and it was only Gabby since everybody at the firehouse had to work today, Shay didn't have to work but she said she had a few things to do and couldn't hang with Gabby. Gabby looked around their house and felt sad because she had nothing to do the house was clean, nobody could hangout even her mother said she had an important meeting to attend which is why she could even come over. She decided to go to the mall to do some more shopping for their baby, she just couldn't stop buying clothes there was just so many cute clothes.

After almost 2 hours at the mall Gabby was tired and wanted to go home and just rest until it was time to make dinner on her way home she received a call from Shay and Shay told her she was free and wanted to to come over her house because she needed to talk. Gabby wanted to say no but knew she would still be bored at home so she made her way to Shays apartment, "Hello? Shay you here?" Gabby asked as she stood in front of Shays door which was opened a little bit which was weird. But there was no answer so she stepped instead. "SURPRISE!!!" Gabby stepped in the living and everybody came out and screamed. "What is this?" Gabby asked as Shay stepped forward and hugged her "it's your baby shower of course" she said as she smiled at me, I was beyond surprises I was not expecting this.

When Gabby was pregnant with Andy she didn't have a baby shower mostly because she was still depressed about well her divorce. Shay always wanted to give her baby shower but Gabby declined so this time around Shay didn't tell her anything because she didn't want Gabby to say no, so instead she talked to Mrs. Dawson and made plans with her. Even Matt knew of course he wasn't there since he had to work but even if he wasn't he wouldn't be there since Shay made it an all woman baby shower only. They spend the day laughing and playing games and at the end of the day Matt came to pick her up because they ended up receiving a lot more gifts especially from her parents who of course let her know they were going to spoil their granddaughter. Along with a new house they needed up selling their car and ended up buying a mini van so they could have more room.
