Saturday August 22

When Dawson started to wake up she noticed that she was now laying down on her bed and she seen her brother Antonio sitting on the chair next to her bed and Shay by the door. "Gabby you okay?" Antonio asked her, she was about to answer when she heard her son screaming "Mommy, mommy" and then he came running in and jumped on her bed and hugged her, "Hi baby" she said in a weak voice. "Mommy what's wrong?" he asked her and she see that he was worried for her. She faked a smile "Nothing baby Im just really tired but now that your here with me Im okay" she said kissing him on top of his head.

The she looked at her brother "You guys should get going" she old him and Shay, they looked at her "Are you sure?" Shay asked her. Dawson nodded not being able to answer Antonio got up and kissed her forehead "Okay but if you need anything call me dont hesitate to call okay?" he said and she nodded then he went over to hug his nephew "Good bye tio (uncle)" Andy said hugging him, "Bye you be okay for mommy okay" and Andy nodded, then after leaving Shay walked up to Dawson "Same for me if you need anything call me" and then hugged her and said goodbye to Andy and left.

"Did you have funny baby?" Dawson asked as she laid their with her son and he smiled and nodded hs head "Yeah mommy lots of fun thank you!" he said leaning up and kissing his mom on the lips. (Okay so when I was a kid I would kiss my mom on the lips so did my brother so there is nothing wrong with this!) She laughed and then turned the television on and put his favorite movies Alvin and The Chipmunks, Lilo and Stitch, and Toy Story. By the time the 3rd movie was finished Andy was fast asleep, she turned off the tv and got more comfortable in bed and kissed her son on top of his head and couldn't help but cry a bit. "Im so sorry baby" she whispered to herself. "Im sorry that your never going to be able to have your dad around, Im sorry for having to grow up without a father now that he is going to start a new family with somebody else." she whispered.

She felt so upset she had tried to survive this 5 years without him, only living for her son, in some part of her heart she wanted for him to return one day and that he would apologize to her for leaving and she would apologize to him for hiding the fact that he had a son but they would work everything out and they would all be a family and then get married again and hopefully have more children. Then she began to think of the day that Andy had asked about his father, and the day that he wanted a baby sister.

*One Year Ago*

"Mommy!" Andy said coming home from pre school, Rosie his nanny was there and said goodbye once Dawson got home from work and he was in the kitchen coloring, "Hi baby" she said sitting next to him and kissing his cheek. "Mommy can I ask you something?" he asked her and she couldn't help but laugh and nodded. It amazed her how smart her son was at the age of 4. "Where's my daddy? her son asked her causing her to fall silent. She had been dreading this day she knew this day would come but she never expected it to be this fast, she looked into his beautiful blue eyes and took a breath before answering him.

"Why do you ask?" she was hoping to avoid his question. "Because today my Evan told me that I dont have a dad because he was mad at us and left us." he said looking sad, this broke Gabby's heart, "Hey now you listen to me baby boy, you dont listen o anything anybody else says about your family unless it comes from me okay I dont ever want you to think like that" she said as she lifted his head by his chin, he looked at her "Then why isn't he with us momma?" he asked once again. She picked him up from the chair he was sitting on and sat him on her lap, "Your daddy had to leave baby he had to go do his job but he loves you with all his heart" she said which was not a complete lie because if he did know that they were expected a child before he left he would have ben so thrilled about and would have been over the moon of happiness.
