Chapter 25

Rose's POV

45 minutes later we were in the court room. The lawyers took turns into talking and my lawyer looked at the judge and said, "AJ doesn't know his grandparents because of all the reports that were made to the cops and social workers. There fore Officer Turner had paper work stating that AJ was to remain into his aunts care. She has taken care of him, while going to school, working, and following everything that that Officer Turner had stated."

The judge looked at Mr. Jones and said, "Can you have Miss Turner come up to the stand so I can ask her a few questions and questions of both lawyers."

I got up and the guard showed me to the stand and I swore to tell all the truth and nothing but the but the truth. I sat down and the Judge looked at me and said, "Miss Turner I've read your file and I know everything that both lawyers know. Now I'll ask you some questions first and then I'll let both lawyers ask you questions, do you understand?"

"Yes Judge I understand," I said.

"Good now I'll start. Now I've read that at one point you went wiled on your family, can you tell me what happened?" Asked the Judged.

"Jason and I got into an argument over our step brother. I was hanging out with him and I guess he had a hold over me. After the argument I left the house with Thomas. I didn't know why type of a person Thomas was at the time," I told him.

"What happened when you were with Thomas?" Asked the Judge.

I took a deep breath and said, "He got me high and drunk, and I didn't know what I was taking and then one morning I woke up and realized that my own brother raped me, and this was before I turned 18. I tried to leave but he would allow me to. I was beaten and raped for weeks on end. One day he left the door to the room that I was locked in open. I ran out, on my way out I saw a tv with something playing. I realized then that he stage everything. He recorded me being high, drunk, and he record raping me countless times, and beating. I left the house and went home, I told my parents what happened and they called the cops and had him arrested."

"What is this that I read that you were depressed and suicidal?" Asked the judge.

"I was. I drank a lot at the time and even cut. CC Mora helped me stop doing that and helped me get my life back, then my parents were killed and I was sent to live with Jason. He just had a little boy and AJ helped me heal over the years," I told him.

"Thank you Miss Turner for telling me this. Now Mr. Caine it's your turn to ask her questions," Said the Judged.

Mr. Caine got up and looked at me and said, "Did you love your brother?"

"Which one?" I asked back.

"Both of them?" Asked Mr. Caine.

"At one time I did. But then I realized what everyone was talking about with Thomas," I said.

"Is it true that you are still depressed? Cutting?" Asked Mr. Caine.

"I don't cut anymore and I am taking pills to help me control my depression," I answered.

"Now isn't true when you heard that Officer Turner was killed along with his wife you tried to kill your self by slowing pills?" Asked Mr. Caine.

"Yes, but now Mr. Mora and everyone I live with gives me my pills to take, and once I have taken them they lock them back up in Andy's bathroom," I answered.
