I got home yesterday around 7pm because of the 5 hour drive plus traffic and Josh got home at 1am. We both are extremely exhausted but we still have to be parents today, so while my body just wants more sleep, my brain is telling me to get up and attend to my crying son.

"Babe can you get him." Josh groaned. I rolled my eyes not like Josh could see. Than I huffed and groaned wishing Josh would just give in and get our son. "Babe!" He moaned again.

"Fine! I'm sorry Josh I'm just extremely exhausted." I said walking to Ryder's room aggravated. He chuckled at my attitude and it made me even madder. "What's so funny captain laughing pants!"

"You get cute when you're mad!" I rolled my eyes trying not to blush at his compliment but it was inevitable. "I see you blushing"

"Do you want to get our son while I get some sleep because it seems like you are wide awake to me!" I yelled.

He threw the blanket back over his head and I huffed. I walked in to Ryder's room and saw him standing in the crib with his watery big blue eyes. 'Mama' he cooed. I wiped the tears from his cheek and picked him up. "Do you want to eat some breakfast RJ?"

He was chewing on his tiny chunky baby fingers, while he looked at me with his big ocean blue eyes, that he gets from his dad. "I'll take that a yes! You look hungry."

I walked in to the kitchen and put him in his highchair. I grabbed blueberry yogurt out of the fridge and got Cheerios and mixed it in a bowl together. While Ryder splashed his food everywhere I decided to call my friend Lauren.

{PHONE CALL}
(L) Hello?
(A) Hey Lauren what's up!
(L) Damn Amanda I haven't talked to you in forever it seems like. How are you?
(A) Good, Good! We just got back from North Carolina last night for his states championship and we are exhausted.
(L) Aw, I heard they won!
(A) Yes they did! I'm so proud of them.
(L) That's great, how is Ryder?
(A) He is good, he is eating breakfast on his own right now like a big boy!
(L) That's so exciting! I need to see him soon.
(A) Yes of course, he has to see Aunt Lauren a lot.
(L) Definitely, I'm sad we haven't been so close these last few months. With your pregnancy, the baby, Josh, your drug problem, rehab, staying clean.. It was hard to really talk with you.
(A) I know, but now Ryder's older so he is much easier to take care of compared to this little baby who cried every 5 minutes.
(L) Right! Anyways I am going prom dress shopping today and if you want to come with me you can! It will be a lot of fun.
(A) I'd love too, what time though?
(L) 2pm
(A) Okay I will ask Josh to watch him.
(L) Yay!

After I chatted with Lauren, Ryder was finished eating, so I cleaned him and his chair up but he still had yogurt all on his pajamas and hair so I decided to give him a bath.

I ran warm water in to Josh and I's bath tub and placed Ryder in it. He giggled and splashed the water around. It is so beautiful to see something I created this happy over splashing water.

I decided to get the bad part over with and actually bathe him. I dumped water on to his head but covering his eyes and he began crying. "I know honey, I'm so mean!" I scrubbed lavender baby shampoo in to his hair and then soaped his body of with apple baby wash. Once he was all clean I let him splash around in the tub for about 10 more minutes.

Time is up, the water has turned cold and Ryder is turning prune. I picked my wet baby up out of the tub and wrapped him in his frog towel. I carried him to his room and laid him on high changing table.

"Mmmh you smell so clean RJ!" He chewed on his fingers and shivered while I put his diaper on and picked out an outfit for him. I dressed him in a light green polo and plaid looking shorts.

I began to brush his wet hair and he rubbed his eyes and began groaning. "Are you tired bubby? You seem exhausted mommy is too munchkin." He began groaning so I picked him up and hugged him.

"Hey monkey, how about mommy takes a shower than we play a little bit and than you take a long 2 hour nap while mommy sleeps too?" He looked at me with a pouty face because he was tired.

I carried him in my bathroom and put him in his little bouncer and gave him some toys and Cheerios. I than undressed and began showering. The magic of what Cheerios do for 10 minutes.

I got out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel. I then got changed in to a pink v-neck shirt and black leggings. I quickly blow dried my hair and threw it up in to a bun. I was debating my makeup but just decided to do it. I put foundation on, light pink eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. I look cute today to bad I'm about to take a nap soon.

I picked RJ up out of his jumper and brought him to the living room. I placed him on the carpet and began to play with his baby games. He hit his little piano and the music began to play and it shouted out the alphabet.

It only took about 15 minutes for Ryder to get bored of his toys and start to get cranky again, so I decided to take him for a walk. I would love to put him down for a nap right now but it's not on his schedule. I just think he had a long night last night.

I placed him in his stroller and began walking around my condo complex. He looked at all the birds flying and the kids playing. "You will be old just like them one day Ryder! Don't you worry."

Once it hit 10am I practically ran home and got Ryder ready for his nap. I fed him his bottle and rocked him in the rocking chair, and soon enough he was knocked out. I placed him in his crib and headed in to my room to get some sleep.

Lauren and I are looking at prom dresses right now and I am so excited. I browsed through the short dresses but nothing caught my eye, I then went to the long dress section and I found a few amazing ones.

I went to the dressing room and quickly tried on all the dresses. Purple, pink, blue, red, yellow, orange, white, black. There were so many choices but only one pick.
