6 more weeks

I'm so miserable, I'm exhausted, and I'm so uncomfortable. I haven't slept in the past 3 days. Josh has been so busy the past few days with Football, so he wasn't there for me. The normal side of me understands him, because he has to commit to his sport, and the other half of me wants to kill him for leaving me alone. Josh's mom is coming over to see me. I'm excited because I need to talk to someone, but I'm not in the mood either because I haven't slept in days. My phone began ringing so I answered it and it was Linda telling me she was here. I walked my fat ass down stairs and let her it.

"Hi, honey! Your looking great!" Linda said giving me a hug.

"Thanks for trying to make me feel better, but right now I'm exhausted.."

"Aw, have you been sleeping a lot?" She asked.

"Hell no! I haven't slept the past 3 nights.. I'm so uncomfortable"

"Aw, I'm sorry to hear about that.. What's been bothering you?" She asked.

"I'm so big I can barley move, my feet and ankles are so swollen, I just feel like my whole Body is throbbing, and is ready to pop!"

"Yeah, that's how it usually feels towards the end.. You only have a few more days!" She said smiling.

"Well I know Josh went to that weekend trip for football camp, in North Carolina.. And he felt terrible the entire time, but he's so excited to see you after practice.." She said.

"Yeah, yeah! I'm over here suffering! And he's just playing football.." I said crying.

She hugged me. "I know sweetie, being a girl sucks.. But Josh is not doing this out of spite! He loves you both"

"I know! I'm just so hormonal.."

She rubbed my back. "What are you going to name him?"

"Ryder Joseph Baker!"

"Aww! I love it!" She said excited.

"Yeah! I'm excited for him to come already! I can continue some what of my normal life when I give birth!"

"Well, you think that.. But that baby is going to take up every ounce of freedom you have." She said truthfully.

"I know, but I can continue playing softball, I can party, I can.. Um never mind.."

"Well softball, may be hard. Your going to want to spend all your time with the baby! Parties you can do here and there otherwise you'll be knocked out, doing homework, working, or taking care of a baby"

"Well He will be put asleep before I leave, and I can have my parents watch him, they wouldn't care, or I know you guys would love to have your grand baby for a night! I just feel we need your guys help to make our life's as normal as possible! Like let us get out once in awhile!" I said.

"We will! Of course, but it's not going to be a everyday, or every weekend type of thing. I get it you need your teen fun time! You guys deserve it after what you'll be going through all week. But I still want you guys to be safe! Once you have a baby you don't want to make any stupid mistakes.. Like getting arrested for underage drinking, or any type of drug in your system! I know it happens.. I was in high school to once, I was pressured in to a lot of crap. Thank god I've never gotten caught! Oh and do not get in a car after you've been drinking! Jesus Christ! You will throw everything down the drain.. You don't want to loose your child over stupid stuff like that. Okay?"

"Yeah, I get it.." I replied.

"I'm excited to watch him, while you guys can go out on date nights! Or have just a few hours to yourself.. Where I hope you'll be smart enough to use condoms, and protection"

I giggled and blushed in embarrassment.

"Don't worry honey, it's bound to happen again.." She said.

"We have to wait 6 weeks right?"

"Longest 6 weeks of your life, well you aren't thinking primarily about sex either, because your drained from the baby, but its still is like ugh I want you!" Linda said.

I laughed. "Is it the same? Like honestly is it ever the same?"

"What sex before and after?" She asked.

"Yeah.."

"Um, depends.. Your pretty young so you may bounce back, but after like your second or third your just loose forever.. But it's still good! Sex is sex! It may not be as perfect as it was but it's still good." She said with all honesty.

She left and Josh arrived.

"Hey! How was camp?" I asked.
