Dean:

Oh, Bobby... He was just sat three, doing nothing for three days straight... Not even Khalilah juggling knives cheered him up and we all knew that she was great and making people laugh, mostly by accident though. "It's been like three days now?" Sammy sighed as Kali pressed herself into my side. "We need to cheer him up. Maybe I'll give him a backrub."

"Dean."

Kali sighed, shaking her head. "Well, what, then?"

"Look...we might have to wrap our heads around the idea that Bobby might not just bounce back this time." My brother paused before looking at what was in my hand. "What's in the envelope?"

"Went to radiology." My Sunny smiled, her fairy talk blue eyes, like sun through ice as she took out the contents. "Got some glamour shots for both of us." Our chests were covered in strange writing, mine slightly different, given that I had less ribs. Never noticed that before. "Let's just say the doctors are baffled."

Sam examined this, the Enochian writing. "Holy crap."

"Yeah, well, Cas carved you one, too."

Then Kali's phone rang, and she answered quickly. "Hello? ...Castiel?"

Brilliant. "Speak of the devil."

"Ah, St. Martin's Hospital. Why? What are you-Cassy?" Then she hung up.

Just before Castiel showed up. "Cell phone, Cas? Really? Since when do angels need to reach out and touch someone?"

He gave me an annoyed look. "You're hidden from angels now-all angels. I won't be able to simply-"

"Enough foreplay." Bobby snapped, and we all looked at him. "Get over here and lay your damn hands on." Except none of us moved. "Get healing. Now."

Cas shook his head, touching Kali's arm carefully, like to make sure that she was alright. "I can't." Bobby stared at him and he walked over. "I'm cut off from heaven and much of heaven's power. Certain things I can do. Certain things I can't."

The old guy was looking at him in disbelief. "You're telling me you lost your mojo just in time to get me stuck in this trap the rest of my life?"

"I'm sorry."

"Shove it up your ass."

Kali sighed, looking up at me as he turned back to the window. "At least he's talking now."

"I heard that."

"Good, you were supposed to."

Cas came back over to us, and his little sister, if it worked like that, given that they were different species, gave him a brave smile. "I don't have much time. We need to talk." We got that, jackass. "Your plan to kill Lucifer."

What 'bout it? "Yeah. You want to help?"

He shook his head. "No. It's foolish. It can't be done."

"Oh." Snow Owl frowned a little. "Thanks for the support."

"But I believe I have the solution." Yeah? Well don't beat around the bush. "There is someone besides Michael strong enough to take on Lucifer. Strong enough to stop the apocalypse. The one who resurrected me and put you on that airplane. The one who began everything. God." We looked skeptically at him. "I'm gonna find God."

Khalilah looked like she was trying incredibly hard not to punch him. "God?"

Cas nodded again. "Yes."

"God."

"Yes! He isn't in heaven. He has to be somewhere."

Oh, I could not pass this one off, I had to say it. "Try New Mexico. I hear he's on a tortilla."
