Dean:

Oh, Lisa... Lisa please... "Ben, I'm sorry." I told the kid who'd been like my son for the last year and a bit but he just stood up and left. "Ben." And then Cas turned up. "What do you want?"

"Dean, listen."

Listen to what, you SOB?! "What do you want me to say? She'll be dead by midnight. Another woman in my life, gone in a moment."

He looked pained. He hadn't been right since, since she died, and part of me was happy about that. Her loss broke everyone, and we didn't deserve to be able to bounce back from that. "I'm sorry."

Yeah, sure. "I don't care. It's too little, too late."

"Okay. Well, regardless, I didn't come for you."

Oh, this ought to be good. "Meaning?"

The sorry excuse for an Angel walked towards Lisa, and put a hand on her forehead, healing her. "She's fine now. She'll wake soon. Dean, I said I'm sorry and I meant it."

"Thank you. I wish this changed anything." Because it hurt, to know that the guy that Khalilah loved like a brother was such a tool now a days. Oh, Kali, what would you do now? You'd probably just hug him into submission, actually, your strange cuddly ways. I just want you to hug me right now.

"I know. So do I. All else aside, I just wanted to fix what I could, after causing so much pain in the long run."

Wait... The first time I punched him, for taking away my memories. He could do that again? "There's one more thing you could do for me."

So he took away hers and Bens memories. And I went up carefully to their room when she woke up, wondering how Kali managed to see us when we didn't know her but she loved me either way. I still had her key, and the ring, and Castiel kept her blade. "What happened?"

"We were in a car crash." He told his mom, while I kept to the shadows, wishing it was just that, that they'd been in an accident and that it wasn't my fault they were almost killed. It was always my fault, with Lisa and Ben, with Dad, Jo, Ellen, Sam. Khalilah. I still had to face her parents one day, to tell her mother and father, and her grumps, the Doctor, that she was dead. That she killed herself to save all of creation.

"Are you okay?"

"Y - Yeah, I'm - I'm fine." Ben told her, and I knew I had to actually speak to her. How, how did she do this? It hurt, it hurt so bad... "You hit your head pretty bad, but you're okay now."

I knocked on the door, and went in carefully. "Hi."

Neither of them knew me. "Who're you?"

"I, I'm Dean. Uh, I'm the guy who hit you."

Lisa frowned at me. "Oh."

"I just, uh, I lost control for a minute, and I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." I told her honestly. Oh, Lisa, I'm so sorry... "I'm real happy you two are both okay. And uh, I'm just - I'm glad your life can get back to normal now."

The woman I had loved for the last year smiled at me, her eyes not having a clue who I was. "We're okay, so - so that's what's important, right?"

I nodded at her. "Yeah. Anyway, uh, I'll leave you two alone." Then went to Ben. "You take care of your mom."

Then I went back, fighting tears at the one chance I had to live a normal life going up in smoke. I'm sorry Khalilah. I failed you, I always have and I always will. Sammy was standing on the other side of the car when I reached it, and looked at me. "Well?"

"Well nothing."

We both got into the car, and my brother kept trying. "Dean, you know, you've pulled some shady crap before, but this has got to be the worst. Whitewashing their memories? After Kali did the same to you? She did that to save you. Take it from somebody who knows -"
