Kali:

"Ruby will meet us outside Cheyenne. She's been tracking some leads. I know she's not exactly on your Christmas list, but if she can help us get to Lilith—"

Dean just brushed him off as I kept my hearts level, keeping my fangs at bay. I'd rather be Sarani, at least then I just had colour changing nails, not fangs and weird ass eyes! "Hey, man, work with Ruby, don't. I don't really give a rat's ass."

"What's your problem? Trouble with your own demon in the back?"

"Pamela didn't want anything to do with this and we dragged her back into it, Sam. And she is not a demon!" I may as well have been.

Sam shook his head as my fangs pushed through painfully again, my gums bleeding. I looked it up, I was transitioning, but once I level into Vampyrus adulthood I'd be better. "She knew what was at stake."

I rolled my eyes, applying a lot of foundation under my eyes, trying to hide it. "Oh yeah. Saving the world. And we're doing such a damn good job of it."

"Kali. Dean—"

My boyfriend, if he still wanted me as I looked like a monster we fought, shook his head. "I'm tired of burying friends, Sam."

"Look, we catch a fresh trail—"

Yeah, yeah, I knew the drill. I'd had a while of this already and we were no closer to stopping the apocalypse. "And we follow it, I know. Like Deany said, I'm just—I'm just getting tired."

He looked at me in the rear view mirror. "Well, get angry. You sure as hell play the part right now."

Like I hadn't noticed.

We reached the motel room at night, Sam flipping on the lights as Dean sighed. "Ah, home crappy home."

Only there was a bitchy ass Angel stood in there. "Winchester, Winchester and Holmes."

"Oh come on." I snapped, fury filling my eyes. "I am not in the mood for your bull right now you phallus brained moron."

"You are needed."

Dean shook his head. "Needed? We just got back from needed. We need to have a meeting anyway."

"Now, you mind your tone with me."

I was sick of having no control about anything, and I was just about ready to slam that black and silver angel blade into his heart. "No, you mind your damn tone with us."

"We just got back from Pamela's funeral." Sam told them as Dean wrapped his arms around me, calming my hearts enough for my fangs to slide back. Oh, he was my control, he was my everything...

"Pamela. You know, psychic Pamela? You remember her. Cas, you remember her." He told them harshly. "You burned her eyes out. Remember that? Good times. Yeah, then she died saving one of your precious seals. So maybe you can stop pushing us around like chess pieces for five freaking minutes, so we can deal with the crap you put Sentinels through!"

Uriel glared at him. "We raised you out of hell for our purposes, had Khalilah sent back from the future by a Weeping Angel of Gallifrey for you."

Shut up, you up yourself trump lord. I spent far too much time with Dean and his road rage...  "Oh, what were those again? What exactly did you want from us? Given that you scared my family enough through demons wanting me dead at the age of three, that I lived a warriors life, hidden up away."

"Start with gratitude. The Angels made sure that you were saved."

Cas tried to fix things then. "Dean, Sentinel, we know this is difficult to understand."
