Dean:
What. The. Hell. Was. Going. On.
"What the hell's going on here, exactly?" Ria asked, saying what I'd been thinking, holding her stomach protectively. New baby Winchester, looks like we weren't going to be the end of our line, especially if they had a boy.
"I'm happy to... fill in the blanks, but maybe we should go somewhere where we could actually sit down." Chuck told us, looking a little hesitant.
Not a chance, I had my little girl here, and if you weren't him? I wanted her where she could get herself to safety. "We're not going anywhere with you. Okay, how do we even know that you're really Chuck and not just some-" And then we were all in the bunker, and Aisy giggled a little. "-crazy spell or manifest...ation."
And then Kevin appeared behind him, and Sam gaped. "Kevin?"
"Guys! You're looking stressed. Especially you, Papa Winchester." Well, being a single dad sucked. "It's cool. Trust Chuck. Whatever it is he needs you to do, he must think you can handle it. Besides, Kali knew it was him." Kali knew everything. "I always trusted you."
I rolled my eyes, kissing Aisy's head. "Yeah, that ended well."
Ria, who hadn't actually known Kevin, blinked a him. "How did you – Are you okay, or – uh?"
"Um... Yeah, I mean, you know, given the circumstances. Nice to finally talk to you though, after screaming at you to tell him for ages." That's Kevin all over. "I'm being honest here, Kevin. It's a great name for a kid"
Chuck stepped forward a little. "Yeah, I don't mean to interrupt. Kind of a plateful here. And, Kevin... you've been in the Veil long enough. It's time you had an upgrade." He waved his hand and Kevin transformed into soul-light, ascending through ceiling.
"Holy crap."
"Daddy! Swear jar!" Ais snapped, taking over her momma's job of telling me off for swearing.
Sam smirked at her, before looking back at God. "You mean your college fund, Aisling. Okay. So, wow, um, Chuck –" he chuckled, "well, I guess we don't call you that, huh?"
"I prefer it." Damn, this was weird.
"Okay, uh, "Chuck" it is." He sighed a little. "I'm sorry. You're gonna have to, uh, give Dean and me a moment to start to process. We didn't even know you were around. I mean, we knew about Chuck, but we just didn't know about... Chuck. I mean, I-I-I was hoping you were around. I-I-I prayed and I- but I don't know if they got, uh, lost in the spam or if—"
Seriously? "Sam?"
"Yeah?"
Ria kissed his hand. "Babbling, love."
"Okay."
"I'm getting that not everyone's totally on board."
Suzy put her hand up, holding a specific card. King of Pentacles. "Already knew. Well, mom did, anyway. You're the King, sweetie, like the Queen is Amara, and the Page is Lucifer, and the 10 is Crowley."
Yeah, yeah, your family was all Seers, we knew that. "Here's the thing, um...Chuck... And I mean no disrespect. Um... I'm guessing you came back to help with the Darkness, and that's great. That's, you know – It's fantastic. Um, but you've been gone a – a... long, long time. And there's so much crap that has gone down on the Earth for thousands of years. I mean, plagues and wars, slaughters. And you were, I don't know, writing books, going to fan conventions. Were you even aware, o-or did you just tune it out?"
"I was aware, Dean."
"But you did nothing. And, again, I-I'm not trying to piss you off. You know, I don't want to turn into a pillar of salt."
