"Yo." Dean called, walking into the library with Aisling holding his hand, which was hard with how tiny she was. She really took more after mums side than dads, as I was sorta in the middle. "Don't suppose you've got a 20 on the darkness."

"Uh. Well, I thought I had something earlier." I muttered, looking at my tablet, my hair twisted into a bun with my pencil through it. "Half a town flipped their gourds and started attacking people. But it turns out they'd eaten rabid possum meat."

He shuddered a little. "Okay, they do realize that possum is a giant rat, right?"

Our daughter looked up at him. "It's a marsupial, daddy."

"Not the point." Sam sighed, looking at his own laptop before turning it to us. "Check this out. Um, a couple was ax murdered in Fall Rivers, Massachusetts at ... wait for it ... the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast museum."

That did not make sense, at all. "A B&B and a museum. Yeah. That doesn't sound like a tourist trap at all. Why would you stay somewhere like that? She killed her family!" I looked at Aisy. "Honey, you're never going near Aunty Ria's things, ok?" Because she liked Viking Axes.

Sam was really into this. "I mean the thing is the inn was Lizzie Borden's actual house. In 1892 she hacked up her mom and stepdad there. Or allegedly hacked them up. She was acquitted and spent the rest of her days in Fall Rivers hounded and persecuted by the townspeople."

"So you're thinking revenge killing." He shrugged. "Why now? It was probably some psycho fan who's seen too many slasher flicks. Which is why Aisling is never watching any."

"Could be, but the inn was locked up." He pointed out, and it was scary how much he wanted to do this. "No signs of entry or exit. Half a dozen guests. None of whom saw or heard any intruders."

There were many ways for this to happen. Heard of Zygons, mate? They were here now, as were Silence still, and Weeping Angels... "Well, maybe the murderer was actually competent. Or alien."

But Dean called it out. "Wait a minute. I know what this is. This has something to do with your freaky fetish for serial killers."

"It's not a fetish."

"What's a fetish?"

We all stared at Aisling, who we'd forgotten about a little. "Uh, an obsession that isn't healthy, baby. Go see Uncle Cassy, and get him to play hungry hungry hippos with you again." She grinned, loving her uncle Cassy, and the ran off, her bare feet leaving little marks on the floor. "You've always wanted to see that house!"

Little Winchester stared at him. "Dean, two people are dead. In Lizzie Borden's home. We got no leads on Amara. I say we check this out." He shut the laptop and rose from his seat. "Besides, the entire Borden clan are buried in Fall Rivers. Including Lizzie. Cas can watch Aisling again, it's fine. He's knee deep binge watching The Wire. Just started Season 2, and Aisling doesn't understand it anyway, she thinks that the TV is a portal." God, I hoped that it couldn't become one for her. Parallel universes.

His eyes widened though. "Oh, he's not coming out any time soon, and Ais loves staying with him. All right."

So we went to the B&B, where Dean was happy that we weren't being feds, so could be together. Only I wasn't really into it, I waited for him to fall asleep and then went to sleep in the library instead. I kept dreaming... dreaming that he was hitting me again, and this time... This time he didn't stop and stabbed me.

I'd also been seeing something else. Natara. I'd been dreaming about her, about who she was, and everything she did before Michael, her soul mate, had to kill her. Lucifer tricked him, saying that she was against God, when really God had made her, to keep the Balance. She was gone though, why was I seeing her? I wasn't Natara!
