Dean

Coffee. Coffee was good, and right now, Khalilah was drinking it so black it swallowed her spoon in her silk jammies. "Rough night?"

"Suzy kept having nightmares, screaming. I had to go into her head to stop her from hurting herself. It's emotional pain, memories, but I'd need mum to take them, or, change them. All I can do is try and help her, but she's still not speaking." She sighed, drinking the mug and pouring herself another. "I want to destroy Crowley for what he did to her..."

I gave her a weak smile, patting her arm as she then grabbed some french toast and an orange juice, walking towards the room she was sharing with Suzetta. "You'll help her, Kali. You help everyone. And remember to eat yourself please." She shrugged, and went off to give her cousin the breakfast as I went to look for my own brother. "Sam! You here?"

Right on cue, Sam entered through the front door carrying a takeout container. "Hey! Morning."

What, it was only 7:45, dude. "You've been outside already?"

"Yeah. Woke up, went for a run - beautiful sunrise, sent pictures to Khalilah." She prefered sunset. "Anyways, cleaned up, went and got breakfast, grabbed you real bacon and eggs, extra grease, not even gonna argue."

My brother put down the container, and we sat together. "Mm, perfect. Wait. You went running?"

"What? Why do you look so worried?"

"Let's see. There's Cas, who Kali told to haul ass here. That was days ago. He's still out there. Um, there's you."

This surprised him. "Me? I feel great."

Only because of the Angel. "I'm sure you do, but, Sam, you went through the trials. Okay, that put a big strain on you. I just think it's better if you took it easy, you know, and didn't act like you were-"

"Possessed by an angel." Great, Zeke was back. "And he does feel better. A work in progress, of course, but I am slowly healing him. I have news. I've picked up chatter among the angels. Not all are wandering around in confusion.

We did know that, thanks. "Yeah, some of 'em are after Cas, maybe Kali too."

"There is a faction that is rapidly organizing and finding human vessels to contain them."

Well, that didn't sound good. "Led by Naomi?"

Zeke shook his head, and I thought about asking him to get Sam to cut his hair, but that probably wouldn't go well. "I have not heard that name, no. But it is this faction's leadership who want Castiel found, and Khalilah is someone of import to him. You see, Dean, I can be useful."

"So can my brother." I pointed out. "So, why don't you go check your e-mail, and if I need your help, I'll let you know, because there is another Angel in the other room who can help."

Then he switched back to Sam after trying to argue. "I mean, you know, Cas is human now. It's gonna take him a lot longer to travel, and if Kali was really worried, she'd go find him."

I was not enjoying this. "I'm gonna get whiplash." He heard my mutter. "Nothing. Um, all right, so, I was thinking that if the angels are organizing, then that makes them a lot more dangerous than we thought."

Sammy frowned at me. "Why do you think they're organizing?"

Ah... Shit. "It makes sense. My point is, is that the more of them that are after Cas, or Khalilah, the worse it is, so... we gotta find him. Which also means Suzy's gotta come with us as Kali won't leave her."

Team meeting started, and we were going over a map of Colorado, and the surrounding states, radius circles around certain points as Sam worked on his laptop. "All right, so this is where Cas called from on Tuesday - Longmont, Colorado. Each circle is how far he might have gotten in one, two, and three days out."
