New Chapter in the saga, and this is when SuperWhoLock is going to come into play, because I've really worked out how to bring it in. Hope you all enjoy it :) Izabelah xxx
Sherlock:
Remind me why having the Doctor living with us was a good idea again? He'd tried to take over our flat, the organised mess that it was in, tried to take over taking Khalilah to her play school and swimming lessons, though her mother and I took it in turns for that, and he'd just been terrorising everyone.
"He needs to calm down." I muttered to Birdy, my head under the pillows as he kept playing his guitar, Jewel curled on top of them. This cat took the terms 'If it fits I sits' far too seriously, I'm telling you. "He doesn't bloody sleep."
"It's only been two months, he's just used to solitary confinement, darling." She sighed, sat up in bed reading her book, masses of curls pinned up on her head. Marriage changed nothing, we just had a piece of paper that said we belonged to each other, not that we hadn't before. But I knew as long as I had her, I'd always be happy. "He'll calm down on his own. Maybe we should go to that carnival tomorrow, the one with the big faire?"
I lifted my head a little, getting a disgruntled meow from the cat as she slid down onto the duvet, starting to obsessively clean herself. If she coughed up another hair ball on my violin... "There's a carnival?"
My wife sighed, looking down at me. "Yes, there is. Did you not hear Mrs Hudson talking about it? Dad loves carnivals, and there will be a merry-go-round for Kali. And, we're going on the ferris wheel."
"Is that an order or a request? Not sure which one I enjoy more if I'm honest." I smiled at her, pushing her book down to kiss her softly, and she smiled, kissing back as I rolled on top of her, the cat giving up on getting comfortable and toddled off to go and sleep with Khalilah instead. "And what do you want me to do, Mistress?"
"I order you to just be your amazing self, Mr Holmes." She smiled at me, wrapping her tiny little legs around me. "Except maybe get better at the foreplay side."
She could be very demanding. I kissed her again, my lips lingering on hers, before the door burst open and a guitar playing idiot came in with Khalilah, holding a ukulele. "Hey, guess what, your daughter is a very good musician! Khalilah, play what I just taught you!"
Lilah giggled at it, but played a short melody on it. "Grumps taught me!"
Birdy sighed, getting out of bed, her bare legs perfectly smooth as she picked up our daughter. "Dad. She's 3 years old, and it's 10pm. I'm in bed, let alone her. You can't keep waking her up!"
"She's a Time Lord, she doesn't need that much sleep." The Doctor told us as I took the ukulele from her, putting it with my violin and Birdy's guitar. "Besides, she's wide awake, aren't you?"
"Yeah!" She laughed, still giggling out of control. "He gave me some minty stuff!"
Oh, for gods sake... "I told you that you couldn't give her Kendall mint cake, Doctor! She's supposed to be asleep, and you need to listen to us, her parents, about everything we think is important about her, because what we say goes."
"Sherlock, I am a parent myself, SJ and Cadia were brought up doing all this, they came out fine."
My wife sighed, shaking her head. "Dad, I ended up in therapy for anorexia and bulimia, and Arcadia ended up being a vigilante in love with the Immortal. Your parenting screwed us up, just a little. Having mum on Earth didn't help, but growing up on the TARDIS, watching people dying, that's what ruined us. This is why we want Khalilah as far away from the TARDIS' as possible."
