Dean:

I was out, god, please, please, tell me that I was out. Bursting in on a couple in a tent, covered in blood and muck, I aimed my gun at them. "Where am I?"

"What?" The woman moved and I trained it on her now. "W– hey, hey."

"Where's the road?"

He pointed the other direction that I'd come. "Twelve miles, that way."

Keeping the gun pointed at the couple, I picked up a backpack from the ground and ran off. I started to hitchhike across country, and 4 days later I found the place, getting out of an orange pickup truck and the driver pointed in the right direction for me, so I started to walk there, holding my left arm tight as it throbbed.

Eventually I found what I was looking for, walking past a stone pillar reading "Lafitte", and walked onto the land, before finding the right place and started to dig. "This better be you, you son of a bitch."

Digging took me hours and it was nearly dark when I finished digging up the grave and I held my left arm again, before getting out the red knife that I took from Khalilah when we went up against of Dick. All I had from her for it, the knife, and a photo I always kept in my wallet when she was asleep and more peaceful."All right. Hold on, you bastard." I rolled up my left sleeve, showing my forearm glowing red and pulsing. "Hold on!" Then I cut it with the knife, grunting in pain. "Anima corpori..." I held it back over the grave and it dripped onto the bones. "Fuerit corpus... totem resurgent."

I groaned in pain as light played over the bones, and once it was gone, I dropped to the ground in pain. "Wow." Rolling down my sleeve, still gasping in pain, I nearly jumped in surprise at how quickly he came back from the dead. "Wow. That was fast."

"No thanks to you." Benny told me. "The hell took you so long?"

Standing back up, I kept holding my arm. "You're welcome." He cracked his neck, testing out his body. "Everything working?"

"Good enough." He opened his mouth wide and vampire teeth descended, reminding me that he was a monster that I usually would have ganked, then retracted again as he closed his mouth. "So... what now?"

"Like we talked about, I guess."

Benny nodded at me. "Then this is goodbye."

Yeah, well, make sure I didn't have to come after you. "Keep your nose clean, Benny. You hear me?"

He walked towards me, holding out his hand and I shook it. "We made it, brother. I can't believe it. You finally get back to that girl of yours."

Then he laughed and pulled me into a hug. "You and me both."

We went our separate ways, and I headed up to the cabin, waiting there for my brother. I didn't want to see Khalilah, if she was there, then... I didn't know how to tell her anything, not after... Oh, God, Cas... She deserved better than me, so god, I hoped that she got the hell out of this life while I was gone, got a real job, helping people who were sick. My Mother Theresa Khalilah.

The moment someone went through the door, I pushed them, Sam, to the ground, dousing him with holy water. "What the –? I'm not a demon." Next I shoved Borax over him. "Or a Leviathan. What –" Then I grabbed Sam's arm, cutting him with a knife and he gasped in pain.

"Or a shifter. Good." I got to my feet, offering him all the stuff. "My turn. Come on. Let's go."

"I don't need to. I know it's you."

Since when did we drop the test, you idiot?! "Damn it, Sammy!" I splashed everything over myself before holding out a knife to him. "Come on!"

My brother stared at me. "No! Dean, can I just say hello?"
