Kali:

When I dropped down, I could hear a girl screaming, and like it was inbuilt into me, I started to run towards it. To find a guy screaming like a 9 year old over a tiny kitten in a locker, along with two men. "That was scary!" One of them, the one that screamed, breathed as the other turned to walk away, before seeing me.

"Freeze, hands up!"

Oh, please. In one movement, I kicked away the gun and held him to the wall with my foot against his throat. "Yeah, like that's going to happen. Aim a gun at me again, and we'll see what I'm going to do with that, sweetness."

The other brother stared at me as I dropped my foot, picking up the gun to take it apart and hand it back to him. Guns were a cowards weapon. "Ok... Who are you?"

"Khalilah. That's all you're going to know. Who might you boys be?" I asked, picking up the cat as the older brother, who I now realised looked a lot like the guy from the café, backed away from me, like he was scared. Aw, wuss.  "And if you don't answer, I am trained to find it out."

"Sam, this is my brother Dean. You a hunter?"

Probably. If they were the boys from the books, I was supposed to be here, and supposed to help them hunt. "As far as you need to know, yes. Call me Kali, Sammy."

He shook my hand cautiously. "And you can call me Sam. How did you do that just now? You're wearing heels!"

"The best of heroes are the women who work an 8 hour shift in 6 inch stiletto's. These are just pumps, Sam." I smiled, walking away, getting out my collapsible staff. "What's the damage? Besides Ghost Fever in Deano over there?"

The younger, taller one shrugged. I was small for my age. Not mum small, but small. This guy was well over a foot taller than her and looked like a moose. "That's what we're here to find out. Mind if we do some tests?"

Ugh, if they had to. "Knock yourself out. Holy water?" He handed me a flask of it, and I just gulped a few mouthfuls. "Silver knife?" Now he handed me that, and I touched the blade along my forearms. "Anything else?"

"No, I think we're good." Sam agreed as Dean kept just staring at me. Aw, he was really cute. "Come on, this way." He lead us through as I kept hold of my staff. Not extended, but ready to beat the crap out of any ghosts. "Luther Garland." He read, looking at an ID card

Dean was looking at a drawing on a table as I tried to invoke a vision, but there wasn't much around me. "Hey, this is uh...this is Frank's wife."

"Plot thickens." I muttered, touching it lightly, but I only saw the future, mum saw the past.

"Yeah, but into what?" Dean tore off the drawing and machines turned on, making us look around quickly. And there was something in the corner,so I flicked out the iron ends of the staff, Sam looking at me and his brother quickly. "Hey!"

Then Dean was running out of the building, leaving Sam and I to shoot and hit at the apparition, before running after. Finding him hiding behind a car, taking another drink.  "Guess we got the right place."

I noticed the car properly then. "No, no way. You, you have a 67 Chevvy Impala, original rims, perfect chrome works, gloss black and leather interior. This is my favourite car, how did you guys get this?!"

"Khalilah, when my brother is back to normal, he will love you." Sam told me, letting me into the back when he saw I had no car. "OK, we're going to team up for this, but afterwards, you are telling us who you are, and properly."

Yeah, lets see how that goes.

The next day, they took me with them to the Sheriff and I dressed in the most formal clothes I had in my bag, a dark green leather jacket, black leggings and a dark blue floral shirt. Oh, and some very hot black leather boots. Dean didn't speak to me, but he didn't half stare. "This is the Garland file, Detective Forbes." Linus told me as Dean started to sway slight.y. "Is he...drunk?"
