When you reach the video, press play. It's kinda a big song and it works well with Dean's emotions. I'm sorry, my Lovelies, but there's another load of Chapters coming... Izzi Pierce xxx
Dean:
Lucifer had Sam. I was missing the only part of me that made sense, felt like a massive piece was ripped out of my heart and I had a random key around that I didn't know what it fitted. Oh, and the Apocalypse was really starting.
"It's starting."
Oh, well noticed, Cas! I think the whole goddamn world could see that! "Yeah, you think, genius?"
He gave me a hurt look, but he looked more tired than I did. Maybe he knew what I was missing. "You don't have to be mean."
"So what do we do now?"
"I suggest we imbibe copious quantities of alcohol... Just wait for the inevitable blast wave."
You were kidding me. Seriously, Castiel? "Yeah, swell. Thank you, Bukowski. I-I mean, how do we stop it?"
"We don't. Lucifer will meet Michael on the chosen field, one will call forth the Endless Sacrifice, and the battle of Armageddon begins."
"Okay, well, where's this chosen field?"
The Angel just shook his head. "I don't know."
Come on, come on, my brother... "Well, there's got to be something that we can do."
Cas stared at me. "I'm sorry, Dean. This is over."
No, no, we were going to do something! "You listen to me, you junkless sissy -- we are not giving up! Bobby? Bobby?"
"There was never much hope to begin with." He sighed, shaking his head sadly. "I don't know what to do."
Well, hopefully there was someone that did know. So, I called Chuck. "Mistress Magda?"
"Um, no, Chuck."
He sounded a little embarrassed now. "Oh, uh, Dean. Uh, wow. I, uh, I didn't know that you'd call."
Yeah, I could tell that. "Who's Mistress Magda?"
"Nothing. She's a, uh, a -- just a, uh... a close friend."
Yeah, brilliant. "Yeah, I'll bet -- real close. Whatever happened to Becky?"
Chuck shrugged. "Didn't work out. I had too much respect for her. Uh, where's your blonde counterpart?"
"Dude, there has never been a blonde with me, besides when I dyed Sam's hair in his sleep." His breathing quickened, and he seemed to work something out. "Did you see where the title fight goes down?"
"The angels are keeping it top secret -- very hush-hush." No, come on, please... "But I saw it anyway. Perks of being a prophet, though the Sentinel? Man, I don't envy her job." Who, that Lil, woman? She seemed pretty crappy to tell you the truth. "It's tomorrow, high noon -- place called Stull Cemetery."
Wait, what? No, no way. "Stull Ceme-- Wait. I know that. That's -- that's an old boneyard outside of Lawrence. Why Lawrence?"
"I don't know." He admitted. "It all has to end where it started, I guess."
Brilliant, great. "All right, Chuck. You know of any way to short-circuit this thing?"
"Besides the rings? No. I'm sorry."
There had to be something, please. "Well, do you have any idea what's gonna happen next?"
He sighed through the phone. "I wish that I did. But I-I just -- I honestly don't know yet."
