-Connor's POV-

Brad, James, Tris and I just finished band rehearsal and we're starving!

"Hey guys, look! How about that cafe?" Brad asked, pointing at a cafe a few blocks down the street.

The three of us nodded and James shouted "The last one who gets in there has to pay!" so we started racing to the entrance, earning a few glares from the business people on the street.

Unfortunately, I was the last person to arrive, seeing that I'm the shortest in the band. The others are already sitting down, waiting for me.

"Alright, I lost. What y'all want?" I asked, wanting to wipe their smirks off their faces.

"I'll have a full English Breakfast with Naked Juice please, Condor." James said, trying to use all my money.

"I'll have a cup of hot coffee, if that's alright." Tristan said, nicely.

"I'll have Turkey sandwich and a bottle of water, thanks Con Con!" Brad sung.

"Fine, wait." I grunted. I slowly walked to the cashier, where a lady in her early 50s sat.

"Welcome, what would you like?" she asked politely.

"A full English breakfast with Naked Juice, Turkey Sandwich and a bottle of water, a cup of hot coffee, and a serving of chips with iced coke please." I said while getting my wallet out. I paid her the money and went back to the table.

"Thank you so much, Con Con! We wuff you!" the three of them sung, I rolled my eyes and wait for our order.

-Kylie's POV-

"Kylie, could you take these drinks to table 12 please?" Jacob said, handing me a tray. I nodded and walked to table 12.

"Here are your drinks, the food will be here soon." I smiled at them while putting down the drinks. There are 4 boys on this table, but only one caught my eye. The guy who sat there with a pout, glaring at the other three guys.

"Thank you," the one with curls and brown eyes said, "Kylie." I nodded my head once again before turning around and walked back to the working area.

While I was cleaning other tables, I realised that the 4 boys are staring at me, making me blush. They look like they're in a heated conversation, but trying to whisper. The cute one who caught my eye just now, saw me staring at them and he smiled shyly at me. I was shocked for a second but then smiled back politely.

-Connor's POV-

The girl who just served us, Kylie. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She wore natural make up, not too much and her dirty blonde hair in a high ponytail. Her greyish green eyes sparkling every time she smiles and she looks adorable in her uniform.

"Connor? Can you hear me?" Brad asked, smirking. I blushed and mumbled a quick yes.

"That Kylie girl, she's quite cute isn't she?" James asked, smirking at me as well. What's with all the smirking today?

"Yeah, she's cute." I whispered.

"What was that?" Tristan asked teasingly beside me.

"She's beautiful." I breathed out, the boys looking at me with knowing looks.

"The moment I saw the way you look at her, I know you like her." Brad whispered, making me blush again. I looked over to her direction and she was busy serving another table, looking so focused and cute.

"We'll help you." James said kindly.

"How?" I asked nervously.

"We'll introduce ourselves, then you ask her for her number, alright?" Tristan ordered.

"But wouldn't that be too straight forward?" I questioned.

"Don't be a coward, Con." the three of them said at the same time.

Looks like I've got no other choice.

-Kylie's POV-

"Kylie, bring these orders to table 12 please." Victoria ordered, wiping her hands on her apron.

"Yes, madam!" I joked and almost slipped on the floor, Jacob and Ella laughing at me while Victoria basically rolled on the floor, laughing like a seal.

"Don't worry, she's always like this." Ella winked at me, making Victoria pout.

I walked over to the table and their conversation stopped immediately. "Here's your food, enjoy your meal." I said awkwardly while the guy with curls and a guy with dirty blonde hair smirked, the tallest one nudging the cute one's side and looks at me. I can hear him gulp nervously.

"Um, thanks." he whispered shyly. I giggled at his shyness and his friends look at me like I've just grown another head. The tall one nudges the cute one again and shot him a glare, while the others looked at each other, 'communicating'.

The one with the curls sighed and cleared his throat, then looked at me in the eye. "I'm Brad," he started, "this is James," he said pointing to the guy with dirty blonde hair, "this is Tristan," the tallest one waved at me, "and this is Connor." Ah, Connor is such a cute name!

"Well, hi? I'm Kylie but you probably already know that since you saw my name tag..." I introduced myself, smiling slightly.

Brad, James and Tristan cleared their throat at the same time, then stared at Connor. He sighed, "I was wondering..." he trailed off. He just sat there, looking at me nervously, not saying a word. His eyes are the colour of light blue, so beautiful that I could probably stare at him for hours and never get bored.

Geez, that sounds weird. I nodded, signalling him to continue.

"I was wondering if I could—" he was about to finish his sentence when the bell at the door rang, signalling new customers.

"Sorry but I gotta go," I told them quickly, "it was nice meeting you."

I rushed away before they could call me again, my job is more important than talking to cute guys now, right?
