-Kylie's POV-
"I'll pick you up at 7 tonight." Connor gave my hand a gentle squeeze and left the cafe with the other 3 boys.
"Yes! Finally!" somebody screamed behind me, making me scream and almost jumped from where I was standing.
Victoria and Ella laughed at my clumsy reaction and I scolded them playfully, "that wasn't funny! I almost had a heart attack!"
"Fine, fine!" Victoria sobered up, wiping her tears as Ella tried to compose herself by taking deep breaths. Us being mature young adults, they poked their tongues at me and I did the same.
Joanne walked out to tell us to get back to work when we pulled our tongues back and she gave us a weird look as we started cracking up again, but this time for a different reason.
"I can't believe I hired a bunch of crazy kids to work in my cafe." she joked, shaking her head and we followed her back into the cafe to continue on with our day.

"C'mon, get in! I only have an hour left to get ready for my date!" I shouted as I pushed the girls into my flat, where Nicole was jumping up and down with excitement in my living room and Ingrid was grinning at us.
"I've already chose an outfit for you, so right now head into the shower while we prepare the things for your makeup and hair!" Nicole ordered. I quickly thanked her for helping me and she kindly waved me off and told me to hurry up.
I took a quick shower and put on some undergarments before putting a robe on and walking out of the bathroom, immediately being pulled towards the bedroom area where my outfit and all the makeup and hair products are, lined up on my bed.
"Wait, girls, I don't actually know where we're going." I suddenly remembered, no one told me anything about the location or what we'll be doing on this date.
They all smirked and said, "we know where you're going but we're not allowed to tell you!" I gave them an 'are you serious' glare but they ignored me and continued to prepare the things they need.
The outfit Nicole chose for me consist the floral printed dress they bought me, a denim jacket, and she paired it with a pair of brown flat sandals.
"So we're not going anywhere fancy, right?" I asked them, who nodded and pushed me towards the bed. Nicole and Ingrid started to curl my hair while Ella and Victoria worked on my makeup.
An hour later, I was ready for my date with Connor. I kind of reminds me of our first date, I guess you could consider this our 'second first date'.
My hair was curled into soft beach waves, and my bangs were braided and pinned up so it's not in my face. My makeup was not too different from my normal everyday routine, keeping everything simple and natural.
The doorbell rang and my heart skipped a beat. The girls squealed excitingly and scrambled to the front door, they seemed even more excited than I am, probably because I'm nervous. I checked my hair, makeup and outfit one last time before walking towards to front door.
There he stood, looking fresh and cleaned up. His eyes are still slightly red but not swollen and bloodshot anymore. Instead of looking miserable, tired and guilty like he did earlier today, he looked happier, but you could see he's as nervous as I am.
Their heads turned towards me as I stood there. "Chop chop, let's get this date going already!" Ella yelled, pushing me towards Connor.
Connor held my hand and I glared at Ella who smiled sheepishly at me, knowing she might have pushed me a little too hard. "Oops."
I was about to walk out of my apartment but Connor stood where he was, I sent him a questioning look but he shook his head and removed his hand from mine. I frowned, but he quickly wrapped his arm around my waist and winked at me.
The girls 'aw-ed' out loud and I blushed.
"Could you take a picture for us, please?" he asked the girls, who nodded and took his phone, taking a few pictures before shooing us out the door.
