-Kylie's POV-

The ride back to my place was full of sobs, comforts and arguments; but I couldn't really understand a word the other girls were saying.

My heart hurts. My head hurts. My whole body hurts.

Why do I always end up getting hurt in relationships?

Maybe I should never date again.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.

"For God's sake! Listen to what I have to say!" Nicole yelled angrily at the other two girls.

"Nicole! Just shut up, okay? Stop trying to make the situation worse!" Victoria yelled back.

"How am I making the situation worse? I'm just trying to help!" Nicole argued, glaring at Victoria. If looks could kill, Victoria would be long gone.

"For some reason, you're trying to help Connor! He cheated on Kylie! Are you stupid, or did you cheat on James with Connor as well?" Ingrid asked, making the other two girls gasp in shock.

They continued to argue back and forth, my headache hurts more and more every second.

"Just shut up! All three of you! Shut up!" I screamed, covering my ears as more tears fall from my bloodshot eyes.

The rest of the ride was just awkwardly quiet, but I don't care anymore.

When we arrived, I unlocked the door and rushed into my room without saying a word to any of the girls. Nicole tried to stop me but the other two girls pulled her back.

"She needs some time alone." Ingrid whispered.

The bright sunlight that's shining through the windows woke me up. Somehow I managed to get an hour of sleep throughout the night, when I wasn't up crying or being woken up by nightmares.

The sound of the shower running stopped and Nicole walked out a few minutes later.

"Good afternoon, Ky." she smiled sadly. I tried to smile but it probably turned out like a frown. "Victoria and Ingrid left earlier this morning. We've got some leftover breakfasts, are you hungry?"

I nodded and mumbled a thank you. I'm not actually hungry at all, but I'd rather have something to do than to sit around and sulk all day.

Nicole quickly returned from the kitchen with a plate of chocolate chip pancakes.

Memories of Connor and his 'signature' chocolate chip pancakes flashed through my mind and tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. Nicole rushed to my side and pulled my into a hug. "What's wrong?"

I shook my head and wiped my tears, "Chocolate chip pancakes reminds me of... him."

Her eyes widened and she stood up quickly, "I'll make you something else. What would you like to have?"

I grabbed the plate from her and placed it on the bedside table. "You don't have to make me anything else. It's fine, I'll just have chocolate chip pancakes."

"Are you sure, Ky? I really don't mind making you something else." Nicole started walking towards the kitchen.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her back, "Really, it's fine. Just sit down, please."

She sighed and nodded, sitting back down onto the bed. We sat in silence, I ate my pancakes while she sat there observing me; she opened her mouth a few times, like she wanted to say something, but then closed her mouth and remains quiet.

She opened her mouth again and this time I broke the silence before she decided to shut her mouth. "Is there something you would like to say?" She shut her mouth again and I groaned loudly. "Just tell me, Nicole."

She opened her mouth yet again, about to tell me whatever she wanted to say, but got cut off by the doorbell.

"Doorbell, why are you doing this to me?" I asked no one in particular, Nicole giggled at my silliness.

"I'll go answer the door, you finish your pancakes. I'll tell you later." Nicole said and rushed out of the room, not even giving me the time to argue back.
