Chapter Sixteen

-Kylie's POV-

After messing around for another half an hour or so, we decided that it's time to leave.

Connor is a really sweet and caring guy, and now that we've known a lot more about each other, I think I might've liked him more than I did before this date.

"Thank you for everything tonight, Connor. I really enjoyed myself." I thanked him and hugged him.

"No problem, it's a pleasure to go on a date with a beautiful girl like you." he placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "It's getting late now, I better go home before my parents get worried. I'll text you when I get home, alright?"

I nodded, "Sweet dreams, love." he whispered.

"Be careful!" I squeezed his hand lightly before he started walking to the elevator.

I waited for him to enter the lift before closing the apartment door behind me.

"HOW WAS THE DATE?" someone asked excitingly, causing me to scream.

"Calm down girl, it's just me and Ella!" Victoria laughed, standing up from the sofa where Ella is sitting there smirking at me.

"Geez, you guys haven't left?" I asked, placing my hand on my heart, they seriously scared the crap out of me.

"Of course we haven't! Gotta make sure you come home safely." Victoria  winked and pushed me towards the sofa and then sat down on the floor next to my feet.

"So, tell us about it!" Ella squealed.

"Aw that's so sweet! Now it makes me feel like Jacob was so lazy when it comes to planning our first date." Ella pouted after hearing my story.

"Connor is such a sweet guy! Aw you two. I'm so happy for you, Ky." Victoria smiled, wiping the fake tears from the corner of her eye before pinching my cheek, and I slapped her hands away playfully.

My phone beeped, and I quickly checked to see if it was Connor, but it was a text from my mum.

From: Mum :)

Can we Skype later? Celia misses you!

To: Mum :)

Sure, I have a few friends over so I can introduce them to you too!

"Girlies?" they looked up from their phones, "My mum wants to Skype me so I was wondering maybe I could introduce you two to her."

"Sure!" both of them chirped.

I quickly got my MacBook and opened the Skype application. The moment I was online, I received a call from my mum.

"Hello Kylie!" my family greeted cheerfully.

"Hey mum! Hey dad! Hello there Celia!" I waved at them, "These are my new friends!"

"Hi, I'm Victoria!" Victoria said, waving.

"I'm Ella!" Ella smiled, looking at Celia in awe. "Your sister is adorable!"

"Hello girls, nice to meet you." my mum greeted back.

We chatted for another 15 minutes before it's Celia's time to take a nap. "It's getting late here too, I'll call you soon, bye!" we all exchanged our goodbyes before ending the call.

"Your parents are so sweet!" they both said to me as I smiled. "I think we better leave now, we've still got work tomorrow." Victoria being the responsible one, pulled Ella out of the door while saying goodbye.

After taking a long, relaxing shower, I collapsed on my bed, my brain and body already half asleep.

My phone beeped, and I quickly grabbed it from my bedside table.

From: Connor :3

I just arrived home, sleep tight my love xx

To: Connor :3

Goodnight xx

Now that he's home, I don't have to worry about him anymore. The moment I closed my eyes, sleep took over me.
