-Kylie's POV-

I'm currently standing at the airport, waiting for my family to arrive.

I'm here alone, standing there excitingly but also impatiently. It's been half an hour since they called, telling me they've landed but because the airport is quite crowded today, I guess it takes quite some time before they would come out.

I searched around the exit where people from all around the world came, and then I finally spotted my parents with Celia in Nicole's arms. I shouted their name and waved frantically at them, catching their attention before Celia jumped out of Nicole's arms and ran towards me.

She ran into my arms and hugged me so tight. I kissed her forehead, "I missed you, hun."

"I missed you too." she sobbed, tears streaming down her face.

"Aw baby sis, don't cry. We're finally back together!" I pinched her cheek softly, causing her to giggle.

"Sweetheart, I missed you!" my mum cried, running towards me and pulling me into an embrace. I hugged her back, my eyes starting to water.

"Mum... I missed you too."

"Where's my hug, Ky?" I chuckled and my mum let go of me, and my dad pulling me into his chest. "I missed you, baby girl."

"I missed you too dad."

We pulled away and I looked at Nicole. She was smiling brightly at me, and I mirrored her expression. "GIVE ME A HUG, LOSER!" she laughed and lunged onto me, almost causing me to fall down. "Whoops."

My parents didn't change at all while Celia grew taller, now her height stops just a little bit above my hips.

Nicole looked so different. Last time I saw her was the night before I moved away, where she helped me pack my stuff. Her natural black hair was dyed into ginger ombre, making the freckles on her face even more visible.

"Let's go to your hotel so you guys could put down your stuff and rest first. Then I'll bring Nicole over to my place and you guys can come over again later tonight for dinner?" I asked them as we started walking towards the airport exit, heading towards the taxi station.

"Sounds good to me." my parents answered, "you'll do the cooking?"

I nodded, "don't worry, I'm sure the food I cook will be edible."

My family laughed, remembering the past when I couldn't cook a single thing without burning it.

I pursed my lips, debating in my head whether or not should I tell them about Connor.

"Is there something else you would like to tell us, sweetheart?" my mum asked concernedly. She knows me so well.

"Um, I want to introduce my friends to you guys tonight, if that's alright."

My dad shrugged, "I'd like to get to know your friends, invite them over."

We dropped my parents and Celia off at the hotel they're staying before Nicole and I headed back to my place. By the time we arrived, it was already 5 in the afternoon.

I texted the group, telling them to come over to my place for dinner and all of them agreed, other than James who said he has some family business to take care of. I even invited Joanne and Jacques, seeing that they're like my second parents here.

"I'm going to take a shower now." Nicole mumbled tiredly as I pointed the door towards to bathroom, pulling her luggage behind me and placing it in my room beside my bed. She unlocked it and took some clothes and her bathroom necessaries before walking into the bathroom.

"Call me if you need any help!" I told her and walked into the kitchen where I started to make the food for tonight.

"Smells so delicious, Ky!" Nicole sung as she walked into the kitchen in her dark blue long sleeve dress, her hair still slightly wet from the shower and her makeup was very minimum.

"Thanks Nic. Could you help me stir this while I go get changed too?" I motioned to the pot of soup and she nodded before I went into my room to change.

I changed out of my hoodie and sweatpants before changing into a crop top and a pair of leggings, releasing my hair from the ponytail and touched my makeup up. I walked back into the kitchen and Nicole and I continued to prepare dinner.

At around six thirty, the doorbell rang. We've already finished cooking most of the food, other than the bread pudding which was still in the oven.

I strolled towards the door with Nicole following behind me. I opened the door and my friends stood there smiling.

"Hey Kylie!" they all greeted together before I led them in. Connor placed a soft kiss on my cheek before he walked in and Nicole looked at us with a confused expression. I blushed, remembering that I haven't told anyone from my family about the relationship.

When they were all settled in the living room, I pulled Nicole with me.

"So, this is my cousin and best friend from Australia, Nicole!" I introduced, and Nicole waved at them.

"This is Brad," I started, pointing at him, "and this is his girlfriend Ingrid. This is Tristan and his girlfriend Victoria, and she's one of the workers from the cafe I work in. Next to them is Jacob and Ella and they also work in the cafe and they're dating too. This is Joanne and Jacques, the owners of the cafe and they're like my second parents. Then this is Connor, and he's my..."

"Boyfriend." Connor ended the sentence for me as the others in the room 'aw'ed. Nicole smirked at me, knowing why I organised this dinner tonight.

"Oh, almost forgot to mention. Brad, Tris and Con are in a band called The Vamps and there's also anther member, James. But sadly he's busy tonight and won't be able to join us." I added.

They started to talk with Nicole, trying to know her better so she wouldn't feel left out. The door bell rang again and this time I know it's my family.

I opened the door and they stood there, smiling happily at me. "Come in, come in!" I laughed, and they entered my apartment, looking around.

I introduced them to all my friends again except for Connor and they either waved, smiled or hugged each other. Everyone in the room was looking at Celia, trying to catch her attention and taking pictures of her.

I pulled Connor up from his position on the couch and squeezed his nervous hand.

"Mum, dad, I would like to introduce you to my boyfriend..." I gulped.

My parents looked at me in shock, a few moments passed before my dad cleared his throat. "What's your name, son?"

"I'm Connor Ball, sir." he actually didn't stutter?! "It's nice to finally meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Hansen."
