-Kylie's POV-
After Victoria and Ella left, I changed into a sweater and my skinny jeans. I paced around the room nervously, planning on what should I tell him.
I could either tell him the truth about me liking him too, or lie about my feelings; it's either a new beginning, or stuck in the past forever. The doorbell of my apartment rang, I've made my decision. It's now or never.
I slowly walked towards the door, taking a deep breathe before opening the door. "Hi." I greeted Connor.
"Hey," he smiled at me shyly, "nice sweater." I blushed, mumbling a short thank you.
"How about let's take a walk in the park? The weather is pretty nice today." he nodded, I ran into my house to get my phone, some money and my keys before locking the door behind us.
The walk towards the park was short and quiet, a comfortable silence fell upon us as we walked.
"Would you like some hot chocolate?" Connor asked as we arrived the park, him pointing at a Starbucks not far away. I nodded, and he jogged towards the coffee shop. 5 minutes later, he came back with two cups of hot chocolate, handing one to me before quickly sipping his own.
"Ow!" he said a bit too loudly.
"What's wrong?" I asked as he stuck his tongue out. "Did you just burn your tongue?" I laughed.
He blushed, nodding slightly.
After a minute or two, he laughed at me when I burnt my tongue too.
"That wasn't funny." I pouted.
"It was hilarious!" he laughed, his face all red.

"So, you said we've got something to talk about?" Connor asked when he walked back to the bench we were sitting after he throwing our rubbish away.
"Oh, yeah." I breathed, "About us. I wanted you to know the reason I ran out that night was because I was shocked and scared. I never expected someone to like me, I'm nothing special. I'm not the prettiest, I'm not the skinniest, I don't have huge boobs, I don't have long legs like models. I'm just, well, me."
Connor looked calm, like he already knew what my answer was. "I like you because you are you. You're unique, special, someone who's real. I get it though, you don't want a relationship yet. I'm not gonna force you into anything, I'm sorry for confessing that night. I hope we could still be friends though."
I shock my head, "actually, I wanted to tell you that... I like you too. And I'm willing to give us a chance."
Connor gasped, a cute smile replacing his frown. He pulled me into a hug, something I didn't expect a shy guy like him would do.
"Would you like to go on a dinner date with me tonight, Ky?" he whispered into my ears, making me shiver under his touch. I can feel his smile widen as he felt my shivering.
I nodded, and he hugged me tighter.
