-Kylie's POV-
"Good morning peeps!" I chirped as I entered the staff room to put my stuff down and get my apron.
"Looks like somebody's in a really happy mood today!" Jacob smirked, "How was the date with Connor yesterday?" he winked.
Cue the blush.
"It was, good." I whispered shyly.
"Just good? Looks like I gotta give some advice to my newest bro." he joked, earning a rude finger from me.

"Kylie?" Victoria yelled as I entered the kitchen area, ready to bring another order out.
"Sup?" I asked, wiping my hands on my apron before tightening my ponytail.
"You bring this order out," she handed me an order that I didn't take, "and then you can have a 15 minute break."
"Alrighty, thank you." I smiled at her before exiting the kitchen area.
I was too excited for my break, I didn't really take notice to whoever is sitting at the table I'm serving. "Here's your order, enjoy!"
"Kylie, sit down!" a very familiar voice said. I turned around and to my surprise, it's James who's waving at me excitingly, and next to him sat Connor who's smiling at me.
I sat down and they immediately pushed a cup of hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll to my side of the table. I thanked them and the three of us started eating.
"So, why you two here?" I asked once I swallowed my mouth full of cinnamon roll.
"Oh, Connor just misses you and didn't want to come here alone and look like a loser so I came with him, I missed my best friend too." James and I laughed at Connor who sat there, letting James pinch his cheek like he's a little boy.
"I missed you both too, also the other half of The Vamps." I smiled at them and sipped on the hot chocolate they ordered for me.
"But I know you missed me the most." Connor spoke quietly, probably just talking to himself. But James and I both heard him and I almost spitted the liquid in my mouth out.
But he's right, I did miss him the most.
"Aw, I see Little Connor's finally coming out of his shy shell, eh?" James teased him again, poking his bright red cheek.
"Guys, stop teasing the poor guy." Ella came to Connor's rescue, which I have a feeling she's got something to say that'll make the situation even more embarrassing for him, because her smirk was wider than the Cheshire Cat. "At least let Kylie do the teasing, it'll probably be a funnier sight."
Told you.
That comment caused Connor and I blush even redder.
"Please don't let those dirty images get into my mind, I'm too innocent for this!" James cried dramatically, covering his ears and shaking his head frantically.
"Yeah right, you're so innocent. I'm sure I didn't catch you watching porn that one time when we had a sleepover at Tris'." Connor muttered under his breathe, but loud enough for the three of us to hear.
We bursted out laughing, me clinging onto the chair for dear life. James' expression just made my day the moment Connor said that.
Connor smiled proudly, and I high fived him. "Good job, Con!"
"Sorry to interrupt the fun, but you guys are kind of too loud and it's my break time now." Victoria came out of nowhere, ushering me out of my seat and handing me the empty cups and plates on the table.
"You're such a party pooper." I said lamely, before starting to walk back to the kitchen.
"Hey Ky, wait." Connor called out, rushing out of his seat and holding onto my empty hand. "Um, I was wondering what time your shift ends today?"
"Around 8, what's up?"
"I was wondering maybe a short dinner date afterwards?" he asked, looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes.
"Of course." I smiled, how is it possible to say no to Connor.
"I'll meet you outside here at 8. James and I gotta go to band practice now, see you later love." he said, placing a soft kiss on my cheek before James and him left, leaving me blushing like a lost puppy.
"You alright there, Ky? Or do you need some cool down?" Jacob laughed as he walked passed me.
Yup, definitely need to cool down a bit.
