-Kylie's POV-

Today has been a very busy day at the cafe, I got out of the shower, changed into my pyjamas and slumped my body onto my comfy looking bed.

My phone suddenly rang, right when I was about to fall asleep. I looked at the clock on the bedside table, who the hell is calling me 11 in the evening?

"Hello?" I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID, grumpily.

The person on the other side coughed loudly, before a raspy voice started speaking. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?" It was Connor.

"I was about to go to bed but I guess I could spare a few minutes of my beauty sleep for you. You sound ill, are you alright?"

"I'm sick and I was wondering, um, if you could come over? My family is on vacation and I didn't want to bother the boys because they wouldn't wanna get infected by me..." he said, coughing a few times between his sentence. "I understand if you don't wanna come over, I mean you have work tomorrow. I'll be fine by myself." he rambled on.

"I'll be over in around half an hour." I told him, and without waiting for an answer, I hung up.

I was gonna say no, but he sounded really sick, and I'm really worried.

I quickly changed into a hoodie and a pair of sweat pants, leaving my hair in a ponytail. There's no need to wear make up or 'dress to impress' right now, is there?

I grabbed my bag and hurried to Connor's house.

"Thank you for coming over." Connor thanked when he opened the door for me.

He was in his cute pyjamas, and wrapped himself in a blanket. His nose was red and his eyes are watering.

We headed to the living room where there is tissue everywhere. There was also a empty pizza box on the table.

"You had pizza for dinner while you're sick?" I asked Connor who already sat down on the couch, smiling cheekily at me. He nodded, "I was super ill and I didn't wanna cook, and no one's here to cook for me so I had no choice."

I shook my head, "wait here, I'll go make you some chicken soup."

I entered the kitchen and started making him some soup. I can hear him coughing and sneezing like a mad man, poor Connor.

By the time I finished, he already fell asleep on the couch, cuddling with his blanket.

I took a quick picture and started to clean up the mess in the room. I threw away the pizza box and the tissues lying around the place. After I made sure I washed my hands, I went to wake him up.

"Wake up, Con." I shook him but he keeps shaking. I touched his forehead and realise he's having a fever. He slowly opened his redden eyes and he looks like he's in pain.

I brought him the warm soup and fed him the medicine. I made him go back into his room to sleep. I was about to leave when he called my name.

"Stay here." he whispered to me.

I obeyed, not wanting to argue with him. I'm really tired myself after taking care of him.

"I'll sleep downstairs. Just shout out my name if anything happens." I kissed his cheek and turned off the lights.

I made myself comfy on the couch before slipping into the darkness.

-Connor's POV-

I woke up the next morning, feeling much better. I stretched my arms and legs before swinging my feet off the bed.

I walked to the living room, heading towards the kitchen to get a cup of water when I spotted Kylie on the couch, sleeping.

I creeped over quietly, she's so adorable when she's asleep. I realise she didn't have a blanket or anything, so I got a blanket from my room and put it over her.

I headed back to the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast, pancakes.

When the pancakes are almost done, Kylie came in.

"Good morning love, are you feeling better?" she asked, sitting down on the island chair and looking at me with a concerned face.

I nodded, "Thank you for coming over, you could've just ignored me."

She giggled cutely, "I wouldn't be that cruel."

We ate breakfast in silence, and I took the time to observe her, wanting to memorise every single feature of her.

She must've sensed my staring because she looked up shyly, with a faint blush on her cheek.

"What are you looking at?"

"I'm looking at the most beautiful girl on earth."

Her blush was even more visible than it was a few moments ago, making her look even cuter.

After we finished breakfast, she volunteered to wash the dishes. I told her she didn't have to, but she insisted.

When she was done, she came to join me on the couch. My hands automatically went around her small waist, pulling her closer to me.

"Can I ask you a question?" she nodded and turned around so she's now facing me.

I shifted closer to her, our faces now centimetres away from each other. I can feel her cool minty breath on my face. I've been wanting to ask her this question for a very, very long time and now I finally have the strength and confidence to ask her.

"Kylie Hansen, will you be my girlfriend?"
