-Kylie's POV-

The warm sunshine shone through the curtains, onto the bed where I was sleeping in.

I slowly opened my eyes, and I feel a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I snuggled closer to Connor's chest and his arms tightened. He mumbled something I can't understand in his sleep before his breathing slowed down again.

I giggled quietly, he's so cute when he's asleep; not that he isn't when he's awake.

I looked up at his peaceful sleeping face. He was frowning a bit with his brows furrowed, looking like a lost puppy.

The alarm on my phone suddenly rings and he blinked a few times before his beautiful blue eyes settled down on me. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Good morning babe." he whispered, placing a kiss on my forehead and pulled me closer to him, if that's even possible.

"I gotta go to work, Con." I mumbled sadly, not wanting to leave his comfortable embrace. I turned myself around in his arms and turned off the alarm that was placed beside my pillow.

I tried to sit up but Connor's strong arms kept me in place. "C'mon babe, I really have to go to work today." I wiggled around but it was no use. I tried pushing his chest away from me but of course, he's too heavy; I even tried to poke his sides and tickle him but all he did was laugh at my fail attempts.

After a few minutes of silence, I can hear the front door unlocked and footsteps walking into the apartment slowly.

"You guys aren't naked or having sex, right?" Nicole's voice rang loudly, and James snickered behind her.

I was about to shout a 'no' but Connor covered my lips and smirked, he started moaning my name and making weird sex noises. He also started shaking the bed, almost causing both of us to fall off.

I glared at him playfully before deciding to join in, moaning his name and making random noises that sounds sexual.

"Okay we're gonna leave now! Connor we'll leave your clothes and stuff on the sofa! Sorry for interrupting, even though I don't think we did! Um, enjoy! Remember to use protection!" James yelled before we heard the door slam.

We waited a few minutes, continue to make noises until we were sure they left before bursting out laughing. I think we laughed for 5 minutes, or maybe even 10, but I wasn't really keeping track of time.

I wish this moment could last forever, Connor and I lying on bed, having a good time; but of course, perfect moments can't last forever.

"I really need to start getting ready for work." I sighed as Connor sat up and pecked my forehead.

"You go take a shower, I'll get changed and prepare some breakfast for us both." he stood up and for a moment I forgot that he only has his boxers on because I was too busy staring at his muscular back. By the time I realised, he was already smirking at me and my face flushed red, knowing that he caught me checking him out.

He laughed but didn't say anything, walking towards the living room to get changed.

I jumped out of bed and grabbed my clothes before taking a quick shower, washing the dirt off my body. I dried off my body and put my clothes on, and put my hair up into a messy bun since I don't have enough time to wash my hair. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, applied some simple makeup before rushing out the bathroom.

The delicious smell of chocolate chip pancakes from the kitchen made me drop everything and strolled towards the kitchen area. Connor was standing by the stove, wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a plain coloured t-shirt and my pink floral apron, flipping pancakes.

My stomach grumbled loudly, catching Connor's attention. He spun around and smiled at me, and I smiled back at him sheepishly.

"Go grab something to drink first, the pancakes are almost ready."

I poured both of us some orange juice before sitting on the sofa in the living room, waiting for Connor and his mouth watering pancakes. A few moments later, he walked out the kitchen, holding two plates.

He passed me a plate and I immediately started to shove the pancakes into my mouth hungrily. He laughed at my very unladylike move before started to eat his own food.

"This. Is. So. Good." I moaned with my mouth full of pancakes, very attractive, I know.

Connor walked me to work, and then went back home to get changed before going to band practice.

Somehow, Ella and Jacob seems off. They weren't as talkative or energetic as they normally would. Not only that, but Victoria has a frown on her face whenever Ella and Jacob communicates with each other. By communicating I mean answering each other with one word answers or just a simple hand movement.

I can see the smiles on their faces were forced but I'm not sure what happened. Only Joanne and Jacques wasn't acting strange.

During Victoria and my break time, I asked her what's wrong but she just shook her head sadly and forced another smile on her face before heading into the washroom.

I went to where Joanne is standing. "What's wrong with the three of them today? They seem a bit off." I asked quietly.

Joanne smiled, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. "I think it's better if you asked Jacob what did he do."

I nodded and went back to the staff room, where Victoria was exiting and Jacob was lying on the sofa, his face in his hands.

"I'm going back to work cause Jacob isn't feeling too well. You've still got 10 minutes." Victoria stated before walking out of the room.

I sat at the end of the sofa, looking at Jacob's tired face. "What's wrong, Jake?"

He opened his eyes and looked at me with bloodshot eyes. He's been crying.

"I screwed up." he whispered sadly, his eyes starting to water again as a tear rolled down his cheek. "Ella and I went clubbing together last night, and she decided she wasn't going to drink, knowing how drunk I can get every time we go clubbing. After an hour or two, I was drunk so Ella decided that we should leave. She told me she was going to the washroom and told me to wait for her by the entrance of the club. I stood there for a few minutes and I saw Ella coming out so I pulled her close to me and kissed her. And then I hear someone gasped so I let go of Ella... But—"

"But turns out the girl he was kissing wasn't Ella, it was a girl who has the same hair colour and wore a similar dress. But of course, he was too drunk to even recognise his own girlfriend." Victoria finished and glared at him. "I was there with some of my friends when I bumped into Ella and we decided to leave together. We saw him sucking the girl's face like there's no tomorrow."

And then, sound of glass breaking was heard behind Victoria. The three of us turned our heads towards the door where Ella was trying to pick the glass up. Victoria and I immediately rushed over to help her, but Jacob only sat there watching with a frown.

We cleaned up the mess and left the staff room to continue our work.

When there were fewer customers, I pulled Ella aside and gave her a hug. Her body started to shake and I know I've done the right thing, giving her the support she needs.

"Everything's gonna be alright." I comforted.

We just stood there with her sobbing in my arms.

After a few more minutes, Ella's sobs died down and she slowly pulled away from my embrace. "Thank you Kylie, I really needed that. Haven't had a good cry after what happened last night."

"No need to thank me, that's what friends are for. Now wipe the tears and that frown off your face and put your smile on." I handed her a piece of tissue and she wiped off her tears and fixed her makeup before smiling. "Now, there's only a few hours of work left, just enjoy and we'll have a talk with Jacob after work, alright?"

She nodded and we went back to work, but this time with smiles on our faces.
