-Kylie's POV-
*Four years later*
I checked everything once, twice, thrice.
"Relax dear, everything's ready. Now we just have to wait." Joanne reassured, patting my shoulder. I gave her a quick smile and thanked her.
Nicole, Victoria, Ingrid, Ella and Jacob already got changed and are just chilling. "Can you guys help me check everything once more while I get changed?" I asked them.
Jacob groaned and shooed me away, "we've checked billions of times, don't worry!" The girls laughed and nodded, shooing me away too.
"If anything goes wrong, it's all your fault." I said, half jokingly.
Nicole stood from where she was sitting and walked towards me, pulling me into a hug. "We're all nervous too, just take a deep breath and calm down, girl friend."
I nodded and took my dress, getting into the washroom to change.
Tonight, The Vamps are coming back from their world tour and we're celebrating by having a welcome party at the cafe.
Throughout the past 4 years, 'The Vamps Family' and 'The Corner Cafe Family' stayed together, our relationship stronger than ever.
Victoria and Tristan got married a year ago with a one year old son; their parents weren't happy when they found out she was pregnant before marriage, but they accepted the fact nevertheless and supported them.
Nicole and James broken up once two years ago, but they quickly got back together and were stuck together since then. James actually proposed to Nicole three times but she rejected him twice, but she finally said yes to him the third time he proposed, after we blamed her for playing with the poor guy's feelings.
Ingrid and Brad barely fought, but even when they did they quickly forgave each other. He proposed to her a month ago and she said yes without a doubt.
Ella and Jacob's relationship kind of got in a mess — they broke up and each dated another person, but soon realised that they were made for each other, and they got back together a year later.
As for Connor and I, we were inseparable. Even when they went on tour, we constantly texted and Skyped each other. I went to visit the band on tour with the girls at least once a month. He proposed to me last moth as well, actually a week after Brad proposed to Ingrid. I, obviously said yes, and I never regretted this decision until this day, and I don't think I ever will.
I changed into my dark blue lace sleeve dress and my matching pumps, touching up my makeup and hair.
Someone knocked on the door, yelling "Joe just texted me, they will be here in 3 minutes!"
I shouted a reply back and took a deep breath. "Everything's gonna be fine." I told myself, before walking out the washroom to my position outside the cafe.
I nodded and Jacques and he turned off all the lights, before going to his position as well. Everyone, including the boys' family members are standing under a banner we made that says 'Welcome home, boys!', with balloons decorating the whole cafe.
We stood in silence, all of us nervous and excited.
A few moments later, the bell on the door rang and footsteps could be heard. "Just go in." Joe's voice said.
"Are you sure? It seems like there's no one in here." a voice that sounds like Brad asked, unsure.
Joanne counted down in a whisper, Jacques turning on the lights as we all jumped out from the back of the counter while shouting 'welcome back!'
The boys jumped in shock, their faces were priceless. All of us started laughing, as they stood there letting the whole scene sink in.
Victoria and Aaron, her and Tris' son, ran towards Tristan, almost tackling him down. Nicole jumped into James open arms, tears slowly streaming down her face. Ingrid laughed and waved at Brad who was still in shock. I laughed at his expression and Brad glared at me, but quickly recovered and strolled towards Ingrid with a evil expression.
Suddenly, a pair of arms were wrapped around my waist, scaring me. "Gotcha." Connor whispered as he placed a kiss on my neck.
I turned around in his arms, our lips immediately found each other. "I missed you." I mumbled, pulling him closer to me.
"I missed you too, Soon-to-be-Mrs. Ball." he said, pulling away. "You look even more gorgeous than when I last saw you a month ago, love."
I giggled and ruffled his hair, "you're such a cheesy dork."
He pouted, "I'm your dork, right?"
I pretend to think by pulling away from his embrace, placing my finger under my chin. "Hmm..."
He grabbed my waist again and pulled me towards his body again, "don't make me tickle you, princess. Am I your dork or not?" he growled jokingly.
"Yes, you're my dork!" I laughed, pulling his arms off me. "Please don't tickle me, or I won't be responsible for any injuries."
He didn't reply, only smiled and gave me a loving gaze, "You're so cute, I love you so much."
"I love you more." I grinned, placing my hand on his cheek.
"Huh, I don't think that's possible, babe." he said cheekily before pecking my nose.
"I'm so glad I met you." I whispered, suddenly remembering what Victoria said to me when I was unsure about starting a relationship with Connor. I remember her exact words: I think Connor is your new door of happiness.
He is indeed my new door of happiness. "I love you so, so much."
"I'm glad I met you too, and I love you to the moon and back, my princess."
