-Kylie's POV-

It's been a month since I joined in The Corner Cafe Family. Ella, Jacob and I became closer, just like best friends; Victoria is like an older sister that I've never had and I can say I love my second family over here.

Other than the family, I also hung out with The Vamps' boys when I got days off and sometimes after my shifts, and we've became closer too, especially James.

Don't get the wrong idea though, he's like a brother to me.

I am currently sitting in Tristan's house with the four boys. They've invited me to their band practice, and I've gladly accepted since I've got a day off today and I don't really have anything to do.

"So," Tristan started, "Kylie you've been here for around a month now, have you met any cute guys you like?" he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I thought about it, have I? I've seen a few cute guys in the cafe during my shift but as I've mentioned before, I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. Other than that, my only close guy friends are Jacob and The Vamps' guys.

"Not really, I'm not in desperate need for a relationship now anyways." I shook my head as they smirked at me.

"What about us four? Who's your favourite?" Brad asked.

"I'd say James. I'm closest to you out of the four, I guess?"

"I see, we're not your favourite." Brad and Tristan cried dramatically, faking hurt. As usual, Connor is just sitting there quiet and awkwardly.

"What do you think about Connor, then?" Connor looked up from his hands when he heard his name, and looked at James weirdly.

"He's shy, like super duper shy." Connor blushed at my comment, but stares at us intensely.

"That's all?" James asked again, clearly not happy with my short answer.

I shrugged, I don't really know him cause he's always quiet. I'd really like to know more about him, but he looks like he's afraid of my or something. Every time I enter the room, he'd immediately stop talking and looks anywhere but me. Even when I talk to him, he's always giving short answers and he never looked me in the eye when we chatted.

"Well then, since we're done with practice already, let's play truth or dare!" Brad suggested and we all agreed.

"I'll start first." Tristan yelled as we sat down in a circle. "Kylie, truth or dare?"

I mentally groaned and thought for a moment, "truth."

"If you'd have to kiss one of us, who would you kiss?" Tristan smirked as I rolled my eyes, typical.

"Hm, if I really had to choose, I'd kiss..." the four of them stares at me, waiting for my answer. "Do I really have to answer?" I huffed as they nodded.

"James."

They gasped dramatically as I smiled at James sheepishly, "sorry dude, I don't like you that way. It's just I've got no other choice." I waved my hands around frantically as they laughed.

"We understand, Kylie, we totally understand." James pats my shoulder.

"We're not that bad, are we?" Brad pouted and crossed his arms.

♡♡♡♡♡ ♡♡♡♡♡

We've been playing for half an hour now and loads of hilarious dares happened. Brad licked Tristan's foot, James had to take all of clothes off except for his boxers, Connor had to tweet something perverted on Twitter and so on.

Now it's my turn to ask a person. I looked at all four of them and decided this could be a good chance to know more about Connor. "Connor, truth or dare?"

He looked shocked when I asked him and he thought for a second before choosing truth.

"If you could kiss any female on this planet, no matter celebrity or a friend, who would you kiss?"

Without thinking, he blurted out his answer and the answer was totally unexpected.

"You."
