-Nicole's POV-

I woke up in the middle of the night. It was 3 in the morning.

I tossed and turned a few times in bed, but couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep in. I decided to go to the kitchen and grab a glass of water.

I placed a soft kiss on James' cheek and got out of bed. I got out of the room and there was dim light coming from the living room where I could hear someone's hushed conversation.

I slowly tiptoed down the stairs, and that was when I can see two people standing in the middle of the room. Connor had his back facing me, and Diana was facing me. She saw me and smirked.

Connor sighed, "Diana, I'm asking you one last time to leave the boys and I alone."

She shook her head, diverting her sight from me back to Connor. Then she winked at me and crashed her lips onto Connor before he could turn around.

I stood there in silence, watching the scene unfold in front of me. Connor tried to push her away, but somehow she was stronger than Connor and continued to suck his face.

"What the hell?!" someone yelled behind me, making me whip my head backwards and there stood James, his jew clenched and his knuckles white from how hard he's holding his fist.

James pushed me behind his back and his body shaking from anger. Connor's eyes was so wide it looked like it would fall out any second, while Diana stood behind him, smirking.

Footsteps could be heard coming down the stairs, before the rest of the group appeared behind me, looking alarmed.

"What happened, mate?" Tristan asked, holding a bat in his arms.

"James! Nicole! I can explain!" Connor said, walking towards me but was stopped by James putting his arms in front of him, stopping him from walking any closer. "It's not what it looks like! I promise!"

I was going to tell him I know what happened but Kylie spoke first before I could. "James, what happened?!"

"CONNOR WAS KISSING DIANA! THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!" James screamed, his veins visible on his neck.

Everyone behind me gasped, and Kylie whispered, "Is that true, Connor?"

Connor shook his head frantically, trying to explain but couldn't even start to speak because everyone else in the room started to scream at him. I tried to help Connor by stepping away from James but I could only take a step away before getting pulled back to where I was.

I tried to calm everyone down, telling them it's alright but the boys pulled Kylie back and started cursing at Connor. The girls pulled her into a hug and kept comforting her; but it's not okay, they didn't see the whole thing, I did!

The other girls continued to comfort Kylie while Victoria pulled away, stormed towards Diana and yelled, "get the hell out of here! I don't want to see your face ever again!"

Diana just smirked and waved, then strolled out of the house.

Connor had tears streaming down his face and my heart broke into pieces. I really want to go over and hug him, tell him I know what happened but Victoria pulled Kylie and I up the stairs and told us to get changed.

"We're leaving! Get changed, pack your bags and we'll go to your place!" Victoria screamed, shoving my things into my bag while the other girls walked in, already changed into new clothes and holding their bag.

Kylie just sat there on the floor, her head between her knees, trying to muffle her sobs.

"But girls, you don't understand! I saw what happened! He—"

"Nicole! Don't try to help him!" Ingrid said, shaking me like she wants me to wake up.

"But—"

"Nicole! He cheated on your cousin with his ex girlfriend when she in the same house!" Victoria shouted.

They pushed Kylie and I into the bathroom and we got changed while Kylie was crying, her tears falling down her face like a waterfall. I can hear them saying mean and rude things about Connor.

I tried to tell Kylie the truth, but she just shook her head and stormed out of the bathroom.

When I walked out, they just pulled me down the stairs where the James looked like he wants to kill Connor, Connor sobbing, Tristan and Brad standing there trying to calm James down, but giving death stares to Connor.

The boys looked at us and the girls just bid their short fair wells before pulling Kylie out of the door, me trailing behind them unwillingly. Connor tried to follow us but the others just pushed him away from us.

Before the door closed, I turned around and Connor had tears streaming down his face like Kylie, his face red from all the crying and shouting, and his eyes looked hopeless, like part of him died.

At that moment, I felt the same. I saw what happened, but I couldn't defend him.
