-Kylie's POV-
"Is it your day off tomorrow?" Connor asked, walking beside me while holding my hand, swinging it back and forth between us.
After dinner, we parted our ways. Connor insisted to walk me home and James joined us, flirting with Nicole the whole way back.
It's obvious that they've got a crush on each other, they've been flirting nonstop at dinner just now. All the other couples at the table sent winks and smirks at their direction, making both of them blush furiously.
"Mhmm." I giggled and pecked his cheek.
"Let's go on another date." Connor suggested, squeezing my hand.
"But I was planning on taking Nicole around the area for sightseeing." I sighed. I would love to go on a date with Connor but I couldn't just leave Nicole at home.
"We could invite James and go on a double date?" Connor suggested again.
I nodded, "McVey! Nic!"
Both of them turned around, stopping at the side of the street and looking at us. James whispered something and Nicole giggled.
"We were wondering maybe we could go on a double date together?" Connor asked, winking at James.
"Er, I've got plans with James already." Nicole blurted out before she could stop herself. Both of them started blushing as I smirked with Connor.
"Aw, can we join?" I asked in a childish voice, still making fun of them.
James turned his head to look at Nicole, obviously giving her the choice to choose. She looked between James and I before sighing, "only because you're my best cousin, Kylie."
I cheered and Connor hugged me from behind, while James sighed too and the two of them started walking again.
Connor let go of me and we hurried to follow the other two.
A few minutes later, we've arrived my flat.
"We'll see you two tomorrow morning, 11 sounds good?" James asked, Nicole and I nodded before bidding our farewells. James kissed the back of Nicole's hand and Nicole's face went red; Connor kissed me tenderly, his hands pulling me closer to his chest.
Someone cleared their throat, making us break apart. James and Nicole was smirking and wiggling their eyebrows at us.
"You two better not get caught kissing or I will kill you." I threatened jokingly as they continued to laugh.
"Alright, we better get going. Goodnight, ladies." James finally recovered from his laughing fit and without waiting for our reply, pulled Connor away from the door and marched towards to elevator.
Nicole continued to wiggle her eyebrows at me and I couldn't help but smack her forehead. "Ow!"
"Serves you right."
I closed the door and both of us collapsed on the couch. Suddenly, Nicole jumped up from her seat and started shouting.
"Dude, calm down." I panicked, looking at her. She stared at me before laughing again.
"I can't believe I'm going on a date tomorrow! I've only arrived here a few days ago and already! Oh my god! I'm so excited! What should I wear? Where are we going? Kylie you've gotta help me out!"
"Seriously, dude, calm down or I won't help you." I chuckled at her behaviour. She took a few deep breaths before turning towards me, waiting for me to answer her.
"You really like James, do you?" I asked.
"I... It's just... A crush?" she mumbled, not even sure herself.
I sighed, patting her knee. "I just don't want either of you to get hurt. You're both my best friends and if anything happens I couldn't and wouldn't choose sides. So please, be careful with his heart. You know he only confessed to me that night and his heart was broken. I really hope you're the one for him."
She nodded with a serious expression, "I understand, Kylie. Don't worry. You know I'm not one to play with people's heart." She stopped for a few moments before smiling again, "so, about tomorrow?"
"I don't know where are we going too, but I could text Connor to ask him what we should wear." I took my phone out and texted him. A few minutes later, he replied.
"What did he say?" Nicole asked nervously, trying to grab my phone from me.
I held my phone above us and held the other hand in front of her face. She immediately backed up and blushed at her childish self.
"He said, wear something casual and comfortable." I paused, before smirking and added, "and he said James was just as excited as you are, looking through his closet and trying to find the perfect outfit for the first date."
