Chapter Ten

-Ella's POV-

The door bell rang.

"Oh my god he's here!" Victoria and Kylie cheered, pushing me towards the front door.

I quickly checked my reflection in the mirror next to the door before Victoria opened it, revealing a very good looking Jacob.

"Well, we better leave now! You two have fun, and please no sex on the first date!" Victoria joked as she walked out the door with Kylie, both waving at us and laughing.

"Hey, you look gorgeous tonight." Jacob complimented and hands me a single rose.

"Thank you, don't I look beautiful all the time?" I asked jokingly.

"I don't mean it that way, I just—"

"I'm just joking, Jake!" I laughed at he blushed at his own embarrassment. "By the way you don't look bad yourself." his whole face became redder after hearing my compliment.

"Well, um, let's go, shall we?"

"We shall." I smiled.

We walked for 15 minutes and arrived a very comfy Italian restaurant. "I hope you like this restaurant, my dad recommended it." We entered the restaurant and the waiter led us to a table for two.

"So, what are you ordering?" I asked Jacob, not sure what to order.

"I think I'd have plain cheese pizza, you?" he answered, putting down his menu and looking at me.

"Lasagna sounds pretty delicious." I put down the menu and Jacob helped us order our food and drinks.

We started talking about all the random stuff, I love how we can always keep the conversation going no matter how random and stupid it is.

Suddenly, he held my hand that I've placed on the table, both of us blushing. He looked at me hesitatingly, and I nodded, telling him I'm okay with it.

Not long later, our food arrived and we ate in comfortable silence, commenting on our food once in a while.

"This is really good, your dad really knows how to pick a good place for a date."

"I know right, that's why his son is pretty awesome too."

We laughed at his stupid little joke.

After dinner, we went for a walk on a beach near by.

"How are you enjoying tonight so far? I know it's not much..."

"I enjoy every second I spend with you, so no matter how boring it is, it's still fun for me!" I said excitingly. He pulled me into a hug, which took me by surprise. I'm sure he can feel how fast my heartbeat is now, and those butterflies in my stomach are going crazy.

"I really, really like you." he whispered, making my shiver.

"I like you a lot too, Jake."

We stood there hugging each other for another 5 minutes before he pulled away. I already miss the heat of his body, but he held onto my hand again, I smiled. We continued walking, until he started running away.

"Catch me if you can!" he yelled and continue running.

"You're such a big baby!" I yelled back, chasing after him. Then I realised, I couldn't find him. "Jake?"

"BOO!" the sudden noise scared me, making me jump up in the air. I turned around and Jacob was on the floor, laughing.

"I-I can't b-believe yo-you got s-scared!"

I frowned, "you're so mean."

He took a few deep breathes, and was suddenly inches away from my face.

"I'm sorry El." he smirked. His eyes flickered from my eyes, to my lips, and back to my eyes. I looked at his lips too, they look so kissable. Slowly, both of us leaned in, until our lips touch. It felt like magic, I can feel the butterflies going all crazy in my stomach. It was a slow, romantic kiss; it's our first kiss.

As cheesy as it sounds, this moment everything is perfect.

We slowly pulled away, and looked at each other's eyes.

"Wow." we both mumbled.
