~5 months before the accident~

After Jimin had gotten changed out of the shower, he staggered out of the dance studio, only to find Taehyung still rehearsing his newly learned dance moves. He couldn't even match his eye level because his head felt heavy with unanswered questions. Queries like why'd it have to be him? Why so out of the blue? Can't he see how much I like him? Why the hell is he so dense!? "Hey Chim, did you find out what was making Hobie hyung act so weird?" He asked, but Jimin just walked passed him as if he wasn't there. "Chim?" He called again. "Hey!" He held back the boy's wrist to halt him from walking away. "Dude, you ok? You don't look so good." Taehyung looked worried at Jimin's sudden change of mood, why, just this morning he was all giddy and excited to start the day, but two hours later, he'd turned into a gloomy mess. What happened in that shower room?

"I'm fine...Tae." Jimin lied, Taehyung could see it written all over his face, his best friend was far from ok. That word 'fine' just said it all. There are so many words and feelings behind that one, simple word, 'fine'.

"You don't look fine to me, bud." He stated. "Is something wrong?"

"Tae, I said I'm fine." He whispered quietly, as if it would trigger a riot of tears if he spoke any louder. "I just...need some air." He carefully pried Taehyung's hand off his wrist and made his way to the university garden.

He sat down on one of the benches and set his tears free. Why did it always have to end like this with him? It never did him any good to fall for someone this severely and find out that they have a crush on someone entirely different to himself. It made him question his personality, his appearance, his way of getting closer to another human being, he questioned he himself as a person. What's wrong with me? He'd often ask his person, what was so bad about him that no one he ever started liking, fell for him? Was he inferior? No. Definitely not. Jimin wasn't aesthetically displeasing, he wasn't at all untalented, he wasn't sour or moody. So why was it that he was so unlucky when it came to romance? It played with his curiosity, these ongoing questions inside his head, he didn't understand why he deemed so unlikeable to every guy, or girl he'd ever had a crush on. It just didn't make sense. He was a perfectly capable guy to go out with.

"Hey Chim." He responded to the deep, raspy voice by snapping his head up and revealing the storm of tears, roling down his slightly tanned cheeks. "Oh my God, what happened? Why are you crying?!" The strawberry headed male asked him as his eyes came in contact with Jimin's tear stained face.

"Nothing..." Jimin started rapidly wiping his face to dry his tears, but he kept missing the droplets, it seemed the more he wiped, the more the tears flowed out, getting more violent with every brush of his sleeves.

"It's clearly not nothing Chim." Suga sat down beside Jimin and started rubbing his back up and down, attempting to soothe Jimin's aching heart. "There, there." He mumbled awkwardly. Unfortunately, it only made the tears climb out of his eyelids faster, the lump in his throat yearning for him to make a pained noise. "Jimin what happened?"

"Hobie...hyung..." he stuttered out, between breathless sobs.

"Mmm." Suga hummed. "What about J-Hope?"

"He likes...he likes Tae!" He finally let out, and as he did, he crashed his face into Suga's sweatshirt, bawling with tears and loud cries. The elder began to wrap his arms around the kid hesitantly, cautious of other people who could be watching two grown men holding eachother.

"Ok dude, you're gonna have to tell me the rest of this over at my dormatory because people are watching." Jimin nodded.

~♡~

"Ok, so let me get this straight," Suga started. "Hoseok likes Tae, and that upsets you because you've liked him since highschool, and now you're questioning yourself because no one you've ever liked has ever liked you back." He carried on. "How do you know?"

"Because it's so obvious." He replied in a muffled voice, he was tucked in Suga's duvet covers, still tearing and whimpering slightly. Jimin had spilled everything out to him, he needed to vent it out to someone, and since Minji wasn't there, Suga was the closest person he had at the university. He couldn't tell Taehyung or Hoseok, because they were the very reason he was in this clouded chaos, so he figured, what did he have to lose by telling one of his newly favourited Hyungs at his university?

"How the flip is it obvious?" He questioned. "Have you ever asked?"

"Hyung," he hurled his upper body up to face his elder. "It's so damn obvious they don't!" He exclaimed. "I mean, everytime I go and talk to him, he's full on lusting over Taeyang!"

"Taeyang is an idol you idiot!"

"YEAH BUT STILL!" He buried himself back into Suga's comforter, willing the tears in his eyes to stay put. "Why is it so hard for someone to fall for me? Am I really that bad? What's wrong with me?" Suga sighed and scooted over on his computer chair over to the boy so he was close enough to touch him. "There's nothing wrong with you dude, people are just stupid." He plopped himself on the edge of the bed and once again, attempted to comfort the younger boy, mindlessly carressing his back through the duvet cover.

"You mean it?" Jimin peeked out. Suga nodded. "YOU'RE LYING TO ME!" He engulfed himself back into the comfort of the covers.

"For God's sake Jimin!" He scoffed as he used his free hand to rub his eyes in entertained frustration. "It's not your fault he can't see how wonderful you are, it's also not your fault he's not got a romantic liking to you. He's missing out, I'm sure." Jimin could feel his tears retreating back into his system and not coming back for a while. "And besides, he was an asshole anyway." Suga insulted Hoseok, only so Jimin would feel better. He sat up once again, crossing his legs under the blanket and wiping off his dried tears.

"Thanks Hyung, I needed to hear that today." Suga smiled, he was glad he was able to help this troubled youth, glad he was useful in one way or another. "But I still like him...like...a lot."

"Well there's not much we can do about that now can we?" He sat back on his bed, using his palms to support him. Jimin looked at his well defined jaw, the way his closed eyes made him look like he was asleep, the way his lips were a perfectly pink shade.

Wait wait wait! Are you gonna be a hoe right now?

He shook himself from his fantasy, and ripped his stare away from Suga's direction. Suga felt the bed shake slightly and opened his eyes so he could see what was happening with the bed. "What was that?"

Jimin thought quickly, he couldn't tell the elder that he just thought about how good his jawline looked! That would be creepy because he didn't even have feelings for the elder! He was panicking, but his exhaustion from crying aided him, making him appear nonchalant about the matter. "Just...had a cringe attack..."
