~4 months before the accident~

Suga looked fondly at Jimin, he didn't expect to have fallen so hard, so fast. Already, he had scenarios of them both deep inside his brain, his heart palpitated at the graphic images that appeared in his head while doing so. There was this one part in his imagination, in which he had Jimin mounted on his lap facing him, looking up at him and rubbing his smooth thighs up and down, while Jimin had his arms wrapped around Suga's neck. And then, slowly, but surely, they'd close the distance between their lips. It was a scene that Suga had imagined in his head quite a bit. He had a lot more tucked in there, somewhere, along with his compositional ideas and the lyrics that almost always popped into his cranium (not as often as Jimin though).

Still, Yoongi knew very well that Jimin's heart still fully belonged to Hoseok, restricting him from making even the slightest move toward him, even just a gentle hold of the hand was prohibited. Tiny little hints of what his feelings were? Never, never ever. These behaviours were not only out of his character, they were also things he knew Jimin wasn't ready for, something Jimin was going to get over slowly, and not all at once. Jimin had loved Hoseok for a long time, and he wasn't expecting a speedy recovery from the heart break Hoseok had unintentionally inflicted upon him. Even after all the reasoning he'd summed up in his head, and all the things that would put off a person about Jimin, he knew he was willing to wait for Jimin to start a new, no matter how long it took for him to let go of Hoseok.

"Yah Park Jimin." He shouted over at the lump in his bed covers. You're probably wondering where they both sleep by now. To your utter disappointment, Suga had an extra bed in his dorm, reserved for the person who was going to transfer to the school like he was at the beginning of the school year, but he changed his mind last minute and decided he was going to stay at his school. So, Suga had been sleeping on that bed for the past two months since Jimin 'moved' himself in. Suga didn't mind this of course, infact, he was thrilled he'd be able to be the first to see Jimin's messy, morning look. "Wanna get outta bed and do something? You've been in there all day."

"You've asked that like everyday I've been here." Jimin groaned. Suga sighed, he understood why Jimin was so moody all the time, but did he really have to take it out on the only person who agreed to put up with it? "I don't wanna go anywhere, nor do I wanna get outta bed."

"Fine." Suga turned back to his computer screen, perplexed by this person's determination to stay in bed. It reminded him of someone he knew. Someone who had an equally bizarre attachment to his bed. "Oh." Suga gasped. "I need to go and meet Namjoon hyung to get the homework assignment from him." He headed out of the door, or rather, he would've if he wasn't being pulled somewhere else. Jimin had miraculously gathered the energy to pull himself out of bed, only to hurl Suga under the covers and within the warmth that resided within his biseps.

"Stay." He almost whispered to the elder, scooting closer so he was burying his eyes into the back of Suga's neck. "Stay..." he begged. "I don't want to be left alone." He whimpered. At this point was a shaking mess, a shaking, tomato coloured mess. He didn't know what to do in his situation, what was he actually suppose to do when there was a grown man clutching around his torso, pleading for him not to go? Would he be heartless, and go anyway? Or would he have a heart, just this once, to comfort his favourite dongsaeng?

Get outta there!

He needs space remember?!

We already discussed this!

Listen to me for once!

The voice inside his head blared and blared out warnings and consequences that could occur, and yet, Suga seemed to become deaf at the point no one could convince him not to wrap his arms around this quivering, red headed catastrophe, because, even though Jimin had messy hair, swollen eyes and hadn't brushed his teeth in three days (if not more), Suga still thought that Jimin was the most beautiful thing that had graced the earth. That's just what happened when anyone was stupidly in love.

"Ok..." he turned around, facing the younger, and hoping to get a good shot of Jimin's sobbing face. Unfortunately, Jimin shoved his head right into Suga's chest, re-snaking his toned arms around his waist, sobbing uncontrollably. "It's ok Jimin, just let it all out." He ran his finger's through the boy's mangled hair, only making Jimin's cries more audible than they already were. They progressed quickly, his quiet whimpers turning into shrieks, wails and whines getting louder the longer he cried. It was like there was a lake in Jimin's eyeballs, so full that the barriers preventing the water to flood just gave way and let out the tsunami of bottled pain.

"It hurts..." he wailed. "...it hurts like hell."

"It always does." Suga mumbled, remembering his lastest encounter with love, excluding Jimin. Jimin looked up at Suga, his eyes red and watery, his heart tangled and beating like crazy for what he was about to do, though, he wasn't thinking straight when he did it. Yoongi mirrored his actions. The red headed, whimpering disaster bit his bottom lip as his eyes fluttered and eventually closed shut, pressing his trembling lips against Suga's, pink and dried, yes, but that didn't put Jimin off. Mere seconds after he brushed his mouth against Suga's, he collapsed on the pillow and appeared to be asleep, his grip on Suga loosening slightly.

It was only brief, but Suga could've sworn that, that awkward peck on his mouth sent electricity on a course through his entire body, every cell in his system buzzed with surprise and fulfilment. Still, he worried. He should've pulled away, this person wasn't in his right mind, taking advantage of that was his first mistake, his second was freezing when he felt the warmth of Jimin's lips on his. Wrong. It was wrong, especially after losing that much water at one time, he knew Jimkn wasn't in the right state of mind, he didn't know what he was doing.

Suga moved to get up again, phased by the younger's bold move. Not even a second after his attempt to escape the room, a second time that night, he was stopped. "You said you would stay." And so, he stayed, retreating back to his original position and letting Jimin wrap himself around his build...

~♡~

Suga woke up with his arms around Jimin, he resembled a child being cradled by either an older sibling, or a parent. None of those positions described how Suga felt about Jimin, especially after the events of the might before. Jimin was acting like a lost child, and it made Suga's thoughts murmur in his head. Why would he do that? Was he desperate for love? Was he hoping something else would come from this? Come to think of it, why didn't Suga pull away? He was suppose to wait, but when Jimin pulled that bold a move on him, what was he to do?

"Hmm." Jimin hummed in a raspy, morning voice. "You're in my bed hyung." He faced his already wide awake hyung, eyes closed and his arm still draped over Suga's side.

"Correction, you're in my bed." Jimin scoffed, unaware of how close he was to Suga's person, and thus, also not completely aware of what had happened, just hours before. Even so, Suga couldn't help the desire of asking the question welling up in his chest. "Why did you kiss me last night?"

"What?" Suga had said that out loud. "I kissed you?!" Jimin's eyes immediately shot open. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! It was just a spur of the moment!" Suga nodded. "Flip, I'm so sorry." He cowered away, guilt infesting his gut.

"I-it's ok dude." Suga was a little disappointed. "It was only brief anyway...so don't even...worry about it..." he got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom to clear his mind, wipe his memory of the misplaced happiness he'd felt last night. That night he wanted desperately to forget...
