Seven months later
4th August"Vivica, wake up."
I stirred, then opened my eyes slightly to see Dimitri's smiling face staring down at me.
"What?" I asked as he gently kissed my cheek and used the back of him hand to wipe away the perspiration that had formed on my forehead.
"I'm bored. Let's play a game."
"What? You woke me up just so we could play a game?"
I looked at the clock on the nightstand and was shocked to see that it was already 7pm. I had been sleeping since about noon.
Despite Dimitri's protests, I had gotten a job as a news reporter for Television Jamaica (TVJ). I read the 10pm news so I got home very late last night. After I got home, Flo and her new boyfriend, Shawn, had stopped by and we were up almost all night. I had barely gotten any sleep before it was morning. I was beyond tired when I had decided to take a nap.
"It's a very fun game, I promise," Dimitri said, bringing me back to the moment.
I sat up and swung my feet over the side of the bed.
"Fine, but I'm bathing first. I'm boiling." This was by far the hottest summer I had ever experienced.
"Okay, great. I'll join you," he said with a smirk.
We both headed for the bathroom, his smirk never leaving his face.

"Okay, so what game do you want to play?" We had finished bathing and were in our bedroom getting dressed."Let's play dress up."
I gave him a look. But his expression showed he was dead serious. I burst into laughter.
"What's so funny?"
"How old are you again?" I continued laughing. "There is no way you can get me to play dress up with you."
A few minutes later, I found my self hurrying to get into a my favorite dress before Dimitri could finish putting on his tuxedo. He happened to finish before I did and rushed for his shoes then started to put them on.
I didn't remember dress up ever being so fun!
I straightened my dress as quickly as my bulging stomach alllowed and rushed for my heels, slipping in my feet before Dimitri could finish putting on his shoes.
"Ha! I won!" I yelled as I began doing a happy dance.
Dimitri cleared his throat, grasping my attention. He then smiled and said, "aren't you forgetting something?"
I glanced in the mirror. My blue-and-white, mid-thigh, skin-tight dress hugged my curves and blended perfectly with my blue stilettos. My eyes moved upwards and caught sight of my hair. It was still tousled from sleeping.
We both rushed to comb our hair. As to be expected, Dimitri finished first. I combed and brushed my hair neatly to the top of my head and made a formal-looking bun, one that went great with my dress. Then, for the heck of it, I applied some makeup.
"You look stunning," I heard Dimitri say. "But I still won." He then began to do the worse imitation of my earlier happy dance.
I fake gasped. "Stop ruining my dance. Let me show you how it's done." I got beside him and started to do the dance also.
So there we were, in the middle of the room, dancing and laughing like a pair of idiots. If I were looking at us from another person's perspective, I would have seen how crazy a couple we were.
