You spent most of the rest of your day working and grading various tests from your students. It wasn't difficult, but it wasn't fun. You wondered when your weekends became so, fun-less. When you finished, you made yourself some noodles and ate while some music was playing in the back. It was a bit lonely without Yoongi you noticed.
"Oh my god he's my boyfriend now"
You thought aloud and just stared at your empty bowl, the thought just out there, staring at you, screaming at you. Were you taking things too fast? Were you taking things too slow? You didn't even know. It'd been so long since you'd dated that you forgot.
After that asshole, it was a wonder you let Yoongi into your life. But Yoongi was different. You saw that from just the way he walked. He had big dreams. He was hard working, and no matter how annoying he was, you had to admit he was one of the most devoted men you've met. His whole apartment was devoted to making music. Minimal furniture, stereo sets in his living room, bedroom. It was a shock he didn't have one in his bathroom.
You sighed and left your bowl on the table, going to your bedroom and falling on the bed.
Was life always this boring? It's not like so much has changed.
But it had, you just completely forgot what it was like to be in love.
My god I'm in love with him aren't I
You closed your eyes and tried going to sleep but to no avail. You checked your phone and realized that Yoongi's shift was over.
You: sweg boi im bored u should come by and entertain me
You: okay that sounded a bit wrong
You didn't get a reply. He didn't even read it. You wondered was everything okay. You hoped nothing bad happened. He was usually home at this time. To rid yourself of all the worries you put your phone away and decided to have a nice long shower. You often wished that you had a bathtub so you could take nice relaxing baths, but this was an okay replacement. You weren't one to complain. You had your own apartment, your own pay, and didn't rely on anyone. Sure sometimes you had less food, you didn't have a TV, but you had your freedom. Plus you lived in your dream place. And nothing could be better than that.
You figured now was a time as good as any to talk to your parents. You tried skyping them, but they were probably still asleep or out of the house. It was morning for them, and already night for you. You just left them a message.
That reminds me.
He still hadn't read the message. You figured it was best not to be too clingy. Not to be too needy. Maybe that was the problem with your last relationship. You shook your head and stopped thinking about that. You promised yourself you wouldn't think about him anymore.
You dressed in your pyjamas, snuggling into your couch and settling your laptop in front of you. After a few episodes of your drama, you fell asleep. This was a regular pattern for you, to fall asleep before 8PM on the weekends. The only thing that could wake you now was a very loud noise. And that's exactly what woke you a few hours later.
Your intercom was ringing so wildly that you fell off your couch from the sudden noise. You whined and rose to your feet, holding onto your side since that's where it hurt most from the fall. You took the little phone and practically spat in anger.
"Who is it?" your voice was still groggy and sleepy
"Yah noona let me in"
The voice was familiar, but it was much louder then usual, more childish, the words were a bit slurred.
