Just when you thought you'd be sleeping that night, you remembered. Yoongi told you that on Saturday nights he was free from 10PM. That was actually the soonest he'd be free. His schedule was quite insane.
It was the time of endless work in the school. Introducing the new online program had been going on for months now, but some professors were still not used to it. Shamelessly, they dumped the remaining work to you. It was up to you to transcribe the information from dozens of papers into the system.
You weren't even in the IT sector.
But then again, this wasn't for the IT people. It was for professors. Luckily, you'd done your big move when this whole thing was introduced. There were no papers or books of your classes that needed sorting.
Just other professor's.
Finishing up Yooa's work, you realized you were exhausted. But it was 10:03 PM. And Yoongi was now free.
You were already locking your apartment, and dashing for the elevator. He'd revealed the location to you, even though it was strictly forbidden to do so. Or at least this is what Yoongi thought. He never really asked. He didn't like to ask the managers much. Especially because in this early phase, no one was really a manager, no one was really looking out for him.
All of them in the dorm were still just trainee's, a few out of many.
Something just told you he wouldn't be asleep, even with the obvious concern that he was, deep asleep by 10:20PM, when you finally got on the bus. Clear of people and the daily rush, the bus you were in looked rather peaceful.
Leaning your head onto the window, you located the familiar coffee shop Yoongi used to work at easily. It looked different now. Nothing probably changed in it, but your view towards it. Yoongi wasn't there anymore, that wasn't a part of his life, and thus neither was it yours. It was merely a distant memory.
Time moved fast. Things seemed to be moving faster. And Yoongi was moving fastest, which was ironic because he liked to be slow as a slug, he liked to do things at his own pace.
Was this what you called growing up?
Of course it wasn't just turning legal in age, nor was it being physically an adult. It was growth, within your business, within your ideas, within yourself.
As the bus doors slid open, you stepped out into an unknown region of Seoul. Never had you been there before, since you didn't have any business in this part of the city anyways. That was funny wasn't it, living in Seoul and truly not knowing some parts of it. Being a total tourist, even when you weren't.
It was 10:33PM.
Should you ring outside his building, or call him? I mean, he was living in a regular building technically to say. It wasn't illegal to walk through the building, not like the president lived there. Nor did idols live there. Trainees, yes, idols, no.
You called him.
As the line rang, you bit your lip, hoping you wouldn't interrupt. He didn't pick up the first call. But, he did the second.
"Hey sweetie"
"Guess where I am"
"I don't know? The gym?"
"Why would I be at the gym, are you implying something Min Yoongi"
"Hey you asked in a tone which means it's a surprise, and you at the gym would be an ultimate shock"
"Oh shut up. Guess again"
He didn't guess correctly, not until you hinted him to come down. That's when he stayed silent on the other line, and hung up. You laughed. Within a few minutes, out of the entrance to his building, you saw him. He even made an effort to hurriedly pace towards you.
