"So let me get this straight, she's staying with you for how long?"

"A week. Maybe longer if I get things to work out"

"Sweetie, that's great what you're doing, but are you sure it will help?"

"No. But I can try"

"Aw, I've got the world's nicest girlfriend"

"Hey hey hey!" you poked his stomach since he was getting a little too friendly there with your shirt "Not now"

"Oh come on. This is our last night that we're alone alone, since you've decided to open up a hostel in your tiny apartment"

"You're just jealous I invited Taeha instead of you"

"You've exposed me" he fake gasped "I've been exposed"

"Shut up"

"Can I set some basic rules though?"

"What rules, it's not you who's housing her"

He fully ignored your statement and proceeded to "set his rules".

"I don't want her bugging me while you're busy, I'm not about to babysit"

"She's 15"

"Exactly. She's a child

"I don't have the mental energy to explain to you how ridiculous you're sounding" you pinched the bridge of your nose, he was so goddamn stubborn

"Whatever"

"Is that all?"

"For now. How do you plan to feed three people?"

"I haven't worked that part out yet"

"Genius"

The next day, you were coming back from work, only for the first time, you weren't alone. Taeha was right next to you. Her backpack lacked books, only filled with clothing and necessities. She was very quiet, from the moment you two met each other in the hall once your shift came to an end. You didn't want to push her to talk, if she wanted to be quiet, you could provide her silence. Miso didn't talk about Taeha with you. Frankly, you were still slightly upset with her. The reaction she had to this whole situation was so unlike the Miso you knew.

"As awkward as this may sound, I live in a small place. And food's not really lavish"

"Jesus professor you're like, saving my life. Do you think I'm about to complain?"

This made you smile, because not only did she speak, but she spoke with a slight sass that you knew indicated she was herself.

"You can call me Y/N. It feels weird to have these formalities, I'm not that much older than you"

"Alright Y/N"

"Oh and, I forgot to mention about my boyfriend"

"I assumed you'd be seeing him a few times a week, it's fine, I'll go to the library"

"Um, well, actually, he lives right across the hall"

"What?"

"Don't worry, he doesn't live with me per say"

"Hey, I said I'm not complaining, although I'm begging you to take any promiscuous business to his place, or at least inform me so I can leave the building"

"I'm not sure you know the right definition of that word"

"Whatever"

Luckily Yoongi still wasn't home, which gave you some time to settle Taeha in without the worry of him barging into the place. She was more then happy to get comfortable on the couch, saying you didn't have to make room in your closet, which was convenient. Having a person in your flat only reminded you how you have a very singular lifestyle. It took you a while to find spare towels and blankets.
