Boycotting Roots

Tbh I didn't even know this was going on til someone mentioned it. I had to actually look it up myself and figure out what y'all was talking about. But now, I see. 

First of all, I can't take it with Snoop Dogg with that scarf on. Looking like somebody auntie. Why he always wearing a scarf when he going on a rant? I can't and I won't. Not today, Satan. 

Plus, I die laughing when Snoop be saying "Fuck y'all!" The way he says it makes me laugh. It has so much emotion and passion behind it. I really can't. I shouldn't even be laughing, but I am. 

On a real note tho, Idek how to feel about it. I understand his POV. It's just I can't choose which side I favor most. It is annoying how most of the time when blacks get some type of recognition or movie roles, it got something to do with slavery. Sometimes it feels like we're being pushed back a few hundred years. Most of the time blacks are seen in a negative light and allat. 

However, like..should we really boycott Roots? Like...do you think it's really that deep? And most t.v. shows nowadays don't really portray positive things black ppl are doing so Snoop, wyd wyd wyd wyd? And most of the time, these shows are made by black ppl themselves *cough cough Mona Scott Young* Just watch the slave thing and then later let's judge. 

That's how I feel. How do y'all feel about it? Lemme know fr. Just to see what the deal is. 

I have ANOTHER new story coming up and trust me, it's good asf. It's like a Lifetime movie I swear. It's also based off this weird ass dream I had. If I were you, I'd be on the lookout for that.
