Amazingly, William let me have the night off - apparently I deserved it after single handedly looking after the boys myself, though it was no problem, in fact, it was easier without Will there. Nevertheless, I got changed into one of my dresses and pulled my hair into a high crimped ponytail.
"Right, see you later." I smile then give Will a quick peck. I pick up my bag and my denim jacket and leave excitedly.
My heels clopped down the long pavement to mine and David's pub, younger adults were wailing happily at the sight of pubs and night clubs. I sigh, it was shameful I missed that period of my life. I mean, I had about 6 months of partying, but that should've kept going until I was about 26...!
I kept my head low, my 1970's heels continued to clop along the pavement - it was almost louder then the people outside the clubs.
Soon enough I was at the pub, thankful I got here on time for once, I see David sitting on his usual bar stool and he smiles his crooked smile to me. I instantly feel the nervous butterflies fly out of my mouth and he stands up and greets me with a kiss on the cheek which makes me blush a rose coloured pink.
"Pint please, Larry." I smile to him.
"Go on into the back room, it's all yours for the night!" Larry passes the cool drink into my warm hand, and together me and David walk behind the bar, into the back room.
David sips his drink and then smiles. "Look, at you!" He wolf whistles me and I blush a harsher red. "Give us a twirl." He smirks. "Dress is a little short for these kind of weather conditions don't you think?"
"Oh shut it, Bowie. Besides, it's February now, it's almost spring... What are you, my father?" I smirk to him.
"Good Lord, you haven't aged a day Ros... You're still full of youth...!" He exclaims.
"You mean I still look like a teenager..." I smirk then laugh awkwardly.
"No, just, you look exactly how I remember... Which is a good thing." He reassures me and I smile back at him. "Wow this room has a few memories...!" David laughs.
"Oh God," I cover my face. "don't remind me!" I laugh too thinking of the night I went into labour with Ziggy.
"So how've you been my darling?" He ask with a crooked smile and sits on the sofa.
"Busy, very busy. Not easy having two children and a business to run." I flop down next to him - I was never as graceful as him, he was the masterpiece that God spent time creating.
"A business woman?! This is even more delightful to hear! Ros, how did you manage that?" David says excitedly.
"A lot of hard work..." I sigh.
"Yes, I had heard about your concerts from Mick, and Iggy..." He mutters quietly. "They asked if I had ever performed on your stages... I said no."
"Yeah, well, that's what you get for leaving." I spit.
"I'd love to perform on my Little Rebel's stage one day." He dreams.
"Maybe you can, one day." I smile at him. "And what of you? How've you been since 1976?"
"I'm now a movie star." He blushes and tries not to brag.
