Hi all,

I'm leaving America in about 2 hours time, so I'm gong to update now just so I don't keep you all waiting! I'm planning to write a couple of chapters on the plane and hope to publish them in the next few days!

Thank you all for your patience! Couldn't ask for better fans!

Love,

BusyScott x

Days had passed, it was now mid July, the boys were off for summer for 6 weeks. 6 weeks of barely getting any work done. David had moved some of his stuff into mine, and lived with us most days.

Will had not shown his face like my dad had excepted, it didn't matter to me, but it had huge effect on the boys. Tommy missed his dad more than anything, I hated Will for this. For Tommy to be happy, he'd have to live with William - wherever that was...

I'm not prepared to let Tommy go...

"How's your song doing?" I ask David about the new one he's writing.

"I'm struggling to finish it actually..." He heavily sighs.

"Really? Maybe I could help?" I offer.

"When are we telling Ziggy?" He asks completely off topic.

"How does that have anything to do with the song?"

"Ros. When can we tell him?" He practically asks me the same question.

"You want to tell him don't you." I mutter cautiously.

He just nods, and I nod back. "Ok, we'll tell him tonight after Tommy's gone to bed."

David smirks then wraps one hand around my waist whilst the other holds a cigarette. "Thank you Ros."

"I have no idea how he'll react though David, this might go terribly wrong." I stress.

"But it might go terribly right." He puts the cigarette between his lips and smirks again showing a side of his teeth.

"You seem confident this'll go well, what makes you think it will?" I ask suspiciously, maybe he had already hinted to Ziggy about this.

"I'm his father," David blows out a puff of smoke then taps the ash off of the fag. "he's very much like me Ros."

He's right.

"Doesn't mean he'll act like you, Ziggy isn't always very open to new things, he-"

"My darling," David puts the cigarette out then kisses my forehead. "Trust me."

"I do, I'm just scared..." I whisper.

David pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head this time, then rests his chin lightly on top.

"Zigs?" I call quietly from the sitting room.

Me and David held hands, mine sweating slightly, the heat almost unbearable to cope with. David quickly pecks my hand and gives me a reassuring smile, and then Ziggy opens the door carefully and I feel the nerves kick in harder.

"Mum?" He wipes his eyes obviously falling asleep.

"Come here Ziggy." David opens his arms wide and Ziggy falls into them.

"We need to tell you something." I sigh and he sits on David's knee. "It's big news, so big, you might not believe it."

"What is it?" He asks.

"You've known me a few months now, haven't you little alien." David mutters to our son.

"Yeah."

"Well, I've known your mother 10 years!" David smiles at me and I mirror his smile.

"That's one year less then me!" Ziggy works out.

"Yes well, your mother and I, we were in love, and we still are." David admits and I feel my cheeks go rose pink.

"We were so in love, we found out you were to be born the following year, 1975." I mumble.

"So that means-" he looks up to David.

"I'm your real father, your real name is Ziggy Bowie." David purrs delicately.

"Dad..." Ziggy whispers and puts his small little hand onto David's strikingly beautiful jawline.

Ziggy's eyes gloss over, I can see how bewildered he is by the news and then he smiles at David but the smile soon fades.

"What about dad?" Ziggy obviously meant Will.

"Will isn't your father, Ziggy." I tell my son bluntly.

"Then-"

"Zigs, I had to leave. I couldn't let you and your mother be abused by the fame I was living through. It wouldn't have been fair." David says with pain in his voice.

"So where did- where did dad come into this." Ziggy obviously was finding it more and more difficult to call Will 'dad' now.

"We met not long after I found out I was expecting you, we became good friends. Then once David left, William told me he loved me." I tell Ziggy the story.

"Then you got married?" He asks.

"Yes, in 1976, then not long after, we had Tommy and David decided not to stay in contact."

"But why?" I can hear the strain in Ziggy's voice.

"Zigs, it hurt me a lot to see your mother with someone else then have a baby with them. I had to go." David says calmly.

"Then why didn't you marry her first?!" Ziggy shouts.

"I was already married... Ziggy, you have a half brother too..." David sighs.

"What?" Ziggy clearly can't believe this is true, maybe all this information was becoming too much for him.

"He's called Zowie, he was born 3 years before you." David tells, still clutching Ziggy close to him.

"Does that mean, Tommy is my half brother too?" Ziggy whimpers now.

"Yes because Will is his real dad, but that doesn't mean your love for Tommy or Will can change, ok? We will do whatever you want us to do Zigs." I lift my sons chin and kiss his nose. "We love you alien."

"Anything else you need to tell me?" Ziggy asks bravely.

I look at David, there wasn't anything I needed to tell Ziggy, my hands were clean.

"What would you say if I told you I was writing a song about you?" David smiles to Ziggy.

"That would be incredible!" Ziggy smiles, then leans his head on David's chest and mutters the words... "I love you, dad."

My heart melted for David, how long had he waited for those words? To hear his son finally say dad to him!? This was such a perfect moment for my two boys, I could see a happier future, with me, David and our 3 boys...

"What's the song going to be called?" Ziggy asks tiredly.

"You shall soon see, my little alien."
