A Happily Ever After

A New Beginning pt.1

Emma's POV

As we rode back to his ship to take the long journey back to the castle I kept thinking that it was all a dream.

But it wasn't. I broke the curse and now we're going home. And Killian is back.

We talked and laughed the whole way about stupid things like how excited I got when people remembered us and how we were being bowed and curtsied to as if we were royalty.

Oh ya we were.

After a couple of minutes we arrived back at the stable to return the horse. Then we walked back to the ship.

Everyone there was finally acting like themselves and were all very nice and actually happy.

The trip would take two days.

So until then we had a lot of time to waste.

Down in Killian's quarters

"You were bloody brilliant Swan! All that just to get a kiss. Wow. You're one amazing actress since you had to pretend you didn't know me."

"As you learned, I was very difficult to get along with but I mean I knew there was something about you when we were cursed. I think it because were true love." he said amazed.

I laughed. Well it's true we are true love we've known that for awhile.

"So Swan how about we celebrate?" he said opening up some champange.

"Aye aye captain." I said laughter in my voice.

The next morning I woke up in Killian's arms. I didn't want to wake him so I just closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep.

Until someone else woke us up.

"Capt'n! We're here! I don't know how but-"

"Thank you Smee well leave soon. As long as you drop the anchor and tie everything up you can go."

"That's what I came to tell you. Its already been done."

Killian looked at me and I couldn't help but smile.

Knowing what he was thinking I changed my outfit.

Yes I had my magic back.

"Its alright Smee I think I know he did it."

Smee not quite understanding but taking the hint, left us alone.

"Sorry? Who am I kidding I'm not sorry. I brought us home a day early. Once I realized it was back I couldn't help myself."

"You are quite impossible sometimes."

"Whys that?"

"Because I was going to have time with you alone."

"Well Captain you do know there is a bedroom in the castle. And it does have a lock on it." I said matter-of-factly.

Then before I knew it his lips were on mine kissing me so deeply I thought I was never going to see him again.

Maybe that's what he thought because of eveything that happened.

Breathlessly he said,"Just know, I'm not taking my eyes off you for a second."

"I would despair if you did." I replied knowing that he wasn't probably going to leave me alone again. But I was fine with that. I didn't want to be alone anyways.

Laughing we bothe got up and got ready. Then we walked off the ship to go be with the rest of our family.

As we got there two guards stopped us.

"And who are you?" one of them asked.

"Are you serious,"I asked annoyed,"I'm Emma Swan. You know the princess and this is Killian you know my true love."

Killian chuckled seeing how we had only been here for 10 seconds and I was already annoyed.

"Oh yes my apologies you highness."

Then they opened the gate and let us in.

"Next please just call me Emma."I told them.

As we entered the castle I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. What if they didn't remember me as Emma Swan? I mean I know the curse is broken but I just don't know.

"What's the matter Swan he said noticing how anxious I was.

"Its nothing I'm just a little worried that's all." I said right when my parents came to greet us.

Here goes nothing.

"Mom? Dad?" I questioned.

"Emma you did it! You broke the curse and brought Killian back!" They said then gave me a very long and tight hug.

We then talked about the past month or two and what had happened.

1-2 hour's later

"Guys I think I'm gonna go to the garden," I announce getting a worried glance from my parents." Its just outside." I say.

"Mind if I come love?" he insists

"You'll come anyway!" I laugh

He has litterally followed me everywhere. Everywhere!

Once were outside we go and sit at a small swing.

"Killian you know you don't have to follow me everywhere. I'll be fine I promise."

"I know it's just after what happened I want to be with you at all times to make sure you're safe. I hope that's okay."

"I know, it's fine because I love spending time with you." I said as he put his arm around me and I leaned in to him.

After a few moments Killian remembered something.

"I need to take you somewhere!" he said.

"Okay?"

As we went to the castles stables we got on a horse and yelled a quick goodbye to my parents and Henry and Regina and robin and... (just kidding) then we were off.

We got to the forest, not getting what we were doing i realized Killian was gone but before I could turn a blindfold was gently tied on me.

"What the-"

"Well I can't let you see the surprise yet." Killian said playfully.

Sighing I replied, "okay okay."

"Careful!" he yelled, "there's a tree there."

"Well it's not like I can see," I stated.

"Aye swan always the complainer," he said then before I knew what was happening I was lifter off the ground and he was holding me in his arms bridal style (😉😏)

"There that's better!" I breathlessly replied.

After a couple more twists and turns and stumbles Killian not seeing a tree branch or rock we finally arrived.

He then put me down and untied the blindfold

"Wow." was all I could even think of
