Our decisions
You pushed me away,
I tried my best.
I retaliated but saw no hope,
We damaged beyond repair.
Or so I thought,
I found my warmth.
It was you who never left the cold,
Trapped in time so long forgotten.
I always cared for others happiness,
Thought my own were none but selfishness.
Until I realized neglecting it,
Only made me plunge deeper in my void.
You pushed me to far this time,
That returning was definitely not an option.
I had put you first,
I care, I did... Not anymore.
For I?
Feel nothing.
I do not despise you,
Neither do I love you.
Furious I am not,
Neither am I calm.
No longer am I wounded,
You wish the differ.
'Change' you claimed me be,
I had not disagree.
For I had come to a conclusion,
Once you become one with your past... You are at peace.
