Continuous cycle

Exculpate you believe yourself to be,

Effusive you do not,

Pawky and mulish,

Leery I should have been,

For I became your phantom,

Desolated and grasped with solitude,

For I am thrown to one corner,

Summon when in need,

Tossed back when my light is crushed,

I repeat my actions,

Learning my lesson I do not,

For a life without you is unbearable,

Harmful words imprinted,

Do I not matter?

Or am I just a... toy?

I cannot escape this cycle of misery,

No matter how hard I try.
