Empty
Fall free,
I cannot stop,
Slipping pass my cheeks,
Staining my pillows,
My heart is frozen,
Mind numb,
No thoughts as I move,
I'm a empty vessel,
Errors I created,
None to blame,
I am at fault,
Fears captured this soul,
Chains wrapped around,
Stilled and lifeless,
Awaiting someone,
Yet none is rattled,
The chains tighten,
Crushing what's left,
More tears slither,
Trying to keep it together,
Welcoming the emptiness,
For it prevents emotions,
Agony slicing through what's left,
Wrapping my arms around myself,
Wishing sleep to envelope me,
As I slip into oblivion,
Hope that I could find happiness one day,
Or has that emotion vanished as well?
