Jamada

Morrigan swung a clawed hand out at me, trying to take my head off, but I ducked in time to see it fly over head.

I jumped back and pulled a bomb from inside my leather jacket and threw it at him, exploding on the left side of his body. Parts of his flesh, and clothes blew away, but he didn't notice. The vampire bared his fangs at me in anger.

"You will pay for that little lizard!" He roared as he swung his rapier at me. I rolled to the side and pulled out another bomb.

"Technically I'm Kobold." I said. "I'm a half dragon, not a half lizard. There's a difference."

He simply snarled at me and went to impale me on his rapier, but was cut off by a exploding bomb full of liquid silver. The vampire instantly back away and looked to his right to see who threw it.

Standing a few feet away from the vampire were two serpentfolk. Most people would run away from the sight of one, let alone two, but these are my companions.

Venom, the younger brother, had a silver bomb in his right hand and his light mace in the other. His older brother, Rattle, had his rapier drawn in his right had, and his other hand was aflame.

"Ah." Morrigan said. "Sorcerers."

Sorcerers are a mysterious bunch. They have the ability to naturally cast magic without the use of a spell book, from the power of there bloodline.

"Let me guess. Infernal Sorcerers?" Morrigan asked.

"What gave that away?" Rattle said sarcastically.

Infernal Sorcerers are people who's relative somewhere in there family history made a deal with a devil, and they were the pact. What I find fascinating is the.....'change' they go through. Most Infernal Sorcerers when they find out about their heritage go through some sort of physical change. For instance, when Rattle and Venom found out they were Infernal Sorcerers, their scale color changed. Venoms scales are a midnight blue, while Rattles are a fiery red.

"I have a cousin that is an Infernal Sorcerer. " Morrigan said swinging his rapier at Rattle. "When he found out he was a Sorcerer his hair turned pitch black."

"Fascinating." Rattle replied, as he and Morrigan swung their swords at each other. The vampire was good with his rapier, but Rattle was clearly his better. While Rattle distracted Morrigan, Venom waited patiently to the side until he saw his opening. He chucked the bomb at Morrigans feet and the silver liquid splashed on his leg. The vampire hissed in pain, and paused for a second, enough time for Venom to run up and slap his light mace into his face, sending him flying back.

The vampire picked himself off the floor and gave the brothers a menacing look. "I'm going to kill you for that." He said as he rushed to them.

I chucked the other bomb I had at Morrigan, and it blasted his right shoulder. He snarled at me, but turned his attention back to the brothers when Rattle blasted him with fire.

Fire. I thought.

I began searching through my jacket pockets, searching for a potion that I enjoyed using. I eventually found the glass vial, full of brass liquid. I smiled at the thought of what would come next.

I popped off the cork and poured the brass liquid down my throat and I instantly felt the change. My body began to grow, my neck and tail grew longer, and two bat wings burst from my back. My jacket melted, pants and goggles into me, and I continued to grow until I was a medium sized brass dragon.

I always felt that I was bigger than a medium sized dragon, but that could be because I'm 3 feet tall.

Morrigan had his back to me and didn't see my transformation, but Rattle and Venom did. They smiled, knowing what was coming, and the jumped out of the way.

"Finally realize who is your better?" Morrigan boasted. He turned around in time to see me realise my fiery breath on him.

The fire engulfed his body, and he trashed around screaming, trying to put out the fire. The potion finally expired and I turned back to normal. Rattle and Venom were standing next to me now, watching the display. He eventually managed to put out some of the fire, and parts of his skin and clothes were burned, or still burning.

"You think you can stop me?!" Morrigan yelled. "I am Morrigan Illious, a noble in the nation of Absalom, and I will not be defeated by a little, stupid Kobold! I-"

"Am dead." I said as I sucked in air and unleashed another fiery breath. His whole body was set on aflame again, and fire erupted from his eyes and mouth. He feel to the ground, squirming, not trying to put out the fire until he stopped moving, and once the fire died, the only thing that remained, was ashes.
