Well, can't say they didn't try. I thought as I watched the pirates, guards and local heros flee from the fight. There were quite a few of them when they arrived but none of them could fight worth a damn. Me and Venom would have helped but we were exhausted and I only had one spell left, and I was saving it for Morrigan.

Unfortunately there was no way to get to him with his pet dragon in the way.

Bukka and the Keketar were the only ones fighting now, and Morrigan just floated in the air behind his dragon, watching them fight. The keketar was holding the dragons mouth closed with its amazing strength while Bukka did whatever he could to damage it. He was making good progress too, until the vampire healed it again.

"Perhaps brother, now would be a good time to use it." I heard Venom say. I turned too him an saw him holding the gauntlet artifact in his hand. To be honest, I didn't suggest using it because we were doing pretty good on our own, up until now of course. I suddenly felt the ground shake and I looked back and saw the keketar on the ground, being held down by the dragon. I watched Bukka pull out a whistle, this time it had a dragon head on the end of it with its mouth open, blew into it and released a line of electricity and blasted the dragons side. It roared in pain and went to bite him but he was already moving and rolled out of the way. I looked back to the dragons paw and saw the keketar was gone. I heard a roar and I saw the keketar was up in the air with Morriga, probably teleported up to him, and was frozen in light green energy. Then, Morrigan pointed to the ground with his staff and the keketar flew to the ground and crashed in front of the dragon hard. The dragon then began to slam it giant paws down onto the keketar who was still frozen by Morrigans telekinesis. I saw Bukka pull out a wand and aim it at Morrigan, but the dragon took one of its paws and slapped him causing him to fly back to where we were taking cover. I ran to him (or tried to run at least) and saw he was miraculously, he was still alive.

"That hurt." Bukka said as I helped him up.

"You sould be thanking desna you survived." I said as Venom ran over. "Not just any one survives a hit from a dragon like that."

"Bukka is a surviver." He said tapping an amulet on his robe. The dragon released roar as it flung the keketar at our feet. The keketar growled as it got up, and I saw that the battle was taking its toll on the protean.

"That vampire is staring to piss me off." It growled. "Getting sick and tired of it healing that damn dragon."

The dragon growled and slowly advanced forward. I saw Morrigan hover down next the dragon and I pulled out my own staff, while Venom put on the gauntlet and Bukka pulled out another wand.

"I admit, you put up a good fight. But it ends now." Morrigan said as he raised his staff at us. "A pity that none you you will be around to hear the pitiful kobolds screams as I take my time slowly killing him."

Electricity danced around Morrigans staff, and I tapped into my staffs power as well, readying for my final fight. The dragon reared its head back and acid dripped from its-

A loud roar echoed in the distance, causing the dragon to look around. A confused look appeared on Morrigans face​, and he too began to look around. I heard loud wing beats and I looked around, trying to find the source, and i heard Morrigan mutter "What in the name of-"

A brown blur smacked into the vampire, and caused him to crash into a building, and topple on him. I tried to see what it was, but it took a sharp turn and I felt the ground shake. Right behind us.

I turned around in time to see a bright line of fire shot out. I turned away and I heard the black dragon roar out in agony, and I looked up to see the black dragon and been burnt pretty bad. I turned around to look at what just had saved us.

It was a brass dragon.
