It is said that when Desna smiles on someone they are to gain good luck, or good fortune. Sometimes, I feel as though when Desana sees me, she just cries.

There were cracks appearing almost everywhere. In the street, alleyways, I even saw two appear inside a building. Only reason I know that was I suddenly saw the people ran out, with skeletons and ghouls chasing after them. Some people ran, but others stayed to fight. Some of them did pretty good, until they got swarmed. Once they were done, they were risen back as zombies and fought against the people they fought with. The five of us were fighting in the street now, cause the alleyway was to narrow. Yeah, bad mistake. We kept moving forward, to make sure we wouldn't be swarmed. Tamroa and Bukka fought in the front, swing their daggers and swords, with a large earth elemental Bukka summoned leading the way flinging the undead away with its large arms. Rattle and Venom fought in the back, casting spells into the horde. I fought in the middle, throwing bombs at whatever got close.

But Desna weeps, how many of these things are there!?

A mummy came at me and I blasted the thing with a bomb, and it flailed around, setting other undead creatures on fire. Three ghouls came from the left and I quickly drank a draconic breath potion and released a cone of acid on them, along with some skeletons. I heard them scream, or at least the ghouls screams, as I turned around and threw two bombs at a wight. Behind it, were zombies and skeletons and I threw a bomb at them, then release a fiery breath creating a small explosion, killing at least three zombies and four skeletons. As I kept turning back and forth I couldn't help but notice there wasn't as much undead creatures attacking the others. It was almost as if they were after.........aw damn it. I heard high pitched screams behind me and I instinctively grabbed two bombs. I turned around and threw them at two ghouls that were in mid air, trying to attack me. However, a third ghoul was behind them and I didn't have enough time to pull out another bomb as it jumped on me. I feel to the ground with the undead ghoul over me, and more undead quickly swarmed over. I tried to grab at bomb, or something, but the undead crowded over and I felt their claws did into me. I made a silent prayer to Desna that would make my death be-

The undead creatures were suddenly all flung away by a powerful force of energy. Rattle came over holding his staff pointed in the direction the undead were sent flying and muttered arcane words and the gem glowed red on the staff, shooting out a twisting and turning line of fire. It traveled through the hoard, roasting the undead creatures around us, with Venoms help until the last of the undead monsters were dead...for now. I picked myself off the ground and checked my wounds, but they were only a few scratches nothing to worry about, though I might see a priest when this is over with. IF I survive.

"We need to get off the street." Tamora said, as we heard a ghoul hiss. "Its getting too crowed."

"Agreed."Rattle said and he disintegrated a zombie. "It only a matter of time before we are overwhelmed."

"Then where can we-" I was about to ask when I heard something crash behind me. I turned around and saw Morrigan standing only a feet away from me. Rattle, Venom and Bukka both launched magic at the vampire but was only absorbed into his staff.

"Tsk-tsk. Your making killing you harder with all of you grouped together." He said. "Lets fix that." He raised his staff and pointed it at Rattle and Venom. A light appeared and they vanished in a blink of an eye. He pointed at Bukka and he disappeared as well. He then muttered something and the staff glowed again and the rock elemental crumbled to a pile of rocks."That should even things out now." He turned his attention towards me and Tamora, extended his hand and watched as he used his vampiric powers to summon nine wolves.

"Fetch."

I turned tail and ran as he said that, and I could heard the wolves panting as they ran. Tamora grabbed a handful of throwing daggers and threw them behind me. I heard some wolves whimper but it wouldn't stop them, and she couldn't have hit all of them. Tamora turned and ran as well, and I did struggle a little bit to keep up. I still heard the panting behind me and I grab a bomb and threw it behind me blindly, hoping to hit something. Surprisingly I did hear a wolf or two whimper, but there will still more. Tamora then suddenly screamed and I saw a wright launch itself from an alleyway from the left and swung its sword at her, nicking her shoulder. She tumbled down but used the momentum to roll forward and pulled out her two big daggers. She tried to kill it quickly but a wight is much faster than a zombie, and it seemed pretty decent with its sword. I quickly began thinking what I should do, I couldn't just keep running and leave her, not what she did to save us, so I stopped to face the wolves chasing me and saw eight remained. Though not very comforting. I thought. So how is one kobold going to deal with eight..........I'm an idiot.
