Jamada

"It still amazes me that this building is still intact and still hold its beauty after all these years." I said to Varak as we walked the outside perimeter of the castle.

"Indeed, it is one of few that has managed to remain whole after the Eye of Abendego that brought doom on Lirgen and Yamasa, creating the Sodden Lands." Varak said. "Have you heard the legend of how the storm came to be?"

I nodded. "Some say that the storm formed after the death of Aroden, some three weeks before."

"And you believe it?" He asked.

"It is a possibility." I said. "Though it is easier to believe that, than the lich you mention claiming to be the 'Lich King'."

"He had a crown on his head, and claims to have a castle in Nidal." He said. "Though I sometimes wonder how Tar-Baphon feels with another lich going around saying he is the king of Lichs."

"Well its not like he can do anything since he is imprisoned." I said.

"True." He said chuckling. "But-" He stopped and a serious look appeared on is face. "What is it?" I asked.

"We are being watched." He said as he looked into the swamp and placed a hand on the hilt of his cold iron katana. He barely pulled the blade from its scabbard, and scanned the area. From what I remember, he said that he had placed an enchantment on the blade that allowed him to see illusions for what they really are, invisible creatures, and in natural or magical darkness. The second he barely pulled the blade from the scabbard, his eyes went wide and pulled the rest of the blade free.

"Run into the castle." He yelled as he ran forward. I was about to ask why, when he was sent back flying, and fell to the ground by a mass of sticky webbing. Most of the webbing covered his torso and legs, but his head, and left arm were free, but the katana was at his feet. I ran over to free him, but just as I went for my dagger, I felt fingers wrap around my throat and lift me up from the ground. I immediately felt pressure around my throat, and I struggled to get a breath in my lungs. I wrapped my hands around what felt like an arm, but I didn't see anyone or anything holding me up...........until I saw the outline of a figure holding me up, and I began to make out the clothes and face of the figu-

Desna weeps. I think. But..but how? He is....he was....dead. How did he find us?

"Surprised?" The figure said with an evil smile on his face, clearly revealing his fangs.

"Morrigan." I whispered.

"It is good to see that you haven't forgotten me so easily.." He said. "Because I haven't forgotten you."

"Now Morrigan." I said. "I can understand that your mad-"

"Oh Jamada. Mad doesn't compare to the anger I have toward you and your friends." He said as he squeeze his hand tighter on my throat. "Or to get more precise. You." I swallowed hard. "But.....how..how did you-"

"Come back?" He said. "It is a rather long story. Time I'm afraid..." He began to say as I felt electricity shoot through my body. I trashed uncontrollably and tried to scream out but his hand clapped tight around my throat. "You do not have." My vision started to go dark, but I felt his grip loosen and I feel to the ground with the vampire towering over me.

"I suppose I should thank you though. If it were not for my 'resurrection' I never would have found this." He said as he showed the staff in his right hand. "This artifact proved to be a challenge to get but......it has proven its uses."

"To kill....a simple....kobold and.....two serpentfolk." I whispered gasping for air. "You should feel proud."

Morrigan chuckled evily and I noticed the type of clothing he was wearing. A black and gold robe, with a large gold cape flapping in the wind. I also noticed he had a gold rapier at his hip, with red arcane writing on the blade. "Oh its not just you I'm going to kill little lizard. No, I have bigger plans in store for Golarion, when I'm finished with you and your friends." He said as he pulled out the golden rapier with his left hand. "But I believe I have talked long enough. So before I kill you, slowly and painfully of course, lets see what a kobolds blood tastes like." He raised his rapier and lightning flashed illuminating him and.........
