Jamada
I had to more or less sprint to try and keep up with Tamora. She ran so fast I had to call out her name and have her slow down so I wouldn't lose sight of her. I quickly came up with a better idea and had her carry me on her back.
I noticed while Tamora ran that the locals were heading towards the docks, probably to leave, but I did seem some people were headed to where the others were fighting Morrigan and his dragon. I turned my head around to see how the battle was going. Even from here the dragon looked huge, as it hovered in the air above the others. I saw different flashes of colors, and after that the dragon would roar. At one point though, I saw pink light shot at the dragon and I heard no roar, so my only guess was that Morrigan healed the dragon again.
"How much father do we have?" I asked, knowing they couldn't keep up the fight for long.
"Not much farther." She said. "Just a few more blocks and we'll be there." Sure enough, she turned down an alleyway and there was the thieves guild. As soon as I saw it, I heard a scream erupt from the inside the building, so jumped off Tamora and ran over to the door, or where there was suppose to be one at least. I leaned in and saw the furniture was destroyed, claw marks were on the floor, and the cracks that were in the ground that summoned the undead were gone. Emaerelth was in the back, exactly where she was when we were forced to flee from the undead, on her knees with the red aura still around her. The tiefling, Herzago, paced back and forth in front of her, holding the sword in hand. She had a look in her eyes that made her look like she just wanted to strangle the life out of the tiefling, but with Herzago controlling her movements, she was forced to endure her punishment.
"Didn't she say something about the sword having her soul?" I asked Tamora.
"Yeah, that's how he is able to control her." She said. "Now if we can just get it from him..."
"Or better yet." I said, already thinking of a plan. "We can destroy it, thus freeing her soul and his control over her."
"How?" She asked. I grinned as I pulled out three bombs and tied them together.
"By blowing it up." I said. "You think you can distract him?" She smiled and pulled out her two big daggers. Together, we snuck in and quietly advanced towards Herzago, while hiding behind destroyed furniture. We got close enough to Herzago were we could hear him mutter to himself.
"I should be with my master killing your friends." He said pacing back and forth. "Instead I find myself watching over you. You, like you are actually a threat.....well, not one in this form at least." Emaerelth groaned in pain, and the aura intensified for a moment, before dying down.
"You should not question your masters will. He knows what I am and he fears it." She said, and she groaned in pain again.
"What has he to fear from you?" He said turning to face her. Before she could say anything, the aura intensified and she scream out in pain. I look to Tamora and signal her for her to attack. She snuck up behind the tiefling and went to stab him, but he swung his sword around at the last second. She managed to duck in time, and backflipped away from the tiefling.
"So...the betrayer returns." He said, slowly walking towards her. "Aren't you suppose to be with your new friends, attempting to destroy my master?"
"Only a fool would attempt to fight someone as powerful as him." She said, lunging at him with her blades. "I left the others to deal with him, and I figured before I left this city, I kill the man who tormented me for so long." The sound of metal rang in my ears as their weapons clashed into one another, each other trying to get a hit, and with the time I've been with Tamora she was no novice with her daggers, but nether was Herzago with his sword.
