Chapter 31
I woke up to excruciating pain. Trying to breath through it, I felt myself crying. Namjoon quickly rushed over to my side after he got the nurse. "Contractions?" The nurse question, as I watched her put some more pain medicine in the IV.
"They're getting more shorter apart but they are lasting longer." Namjoon told her handing me a tissue.
"It's all normal. I'll bring the doctor around in a little bit to see how far along you are." The nurse told us, as I looked over at Namjoon.
"It's been 2 hours." I frowned, as Namjoon brushed the hair out of my face.
"Two hours closer till we get to see them." He smiled, as the doctor came in then. Walking over to me, he made me spread my legs.
"We're getting close, your seven centimeters dilated. Within the hour, I believe we'll have two new bundles of joy." He told me, making me relax. Walking out, I noticed two heads outside the door.
"Can we come in?" J-Hope asked, with Jin right next to him.
"Yeah, come in." Namjoon told them as they walked over and sat down in the chairs next to him.
"How long till. . .?" Jin asked.
"Within the hour." Namjoon told them, as J-Hope's eyes widened.
"Your going to be a father within an hour!"J-Hope exclaimed as I was in pain yet again from another contraction.
"Is she okay?" Jin asked, looking over at me as I winced in pain.
"It's the contractions. They have been more often within the past hour." Namjoon told them.
"At least we're going back to Seoul in the next few days." Jin said.
"Whoa, your kids will be Americans!" J-Hope exclaimed, making me realize what he was saying. Namjoon laughed at his comment, smiling over at me.
"Your gonna have to teach them English." I told him, just as a major contraction hit.
"We should probably go. . ." Jin told J-Hope as they walked out. Namjoon grabbed my hand as I moaned in pain.
"Alright, let's see how far we are now." The doctor said, checking. "Looks to me like we're ready to push."
Looking over at Namjoon he grabbed my hand. More nurses rushed in after that, bringing in beds for the babies. Nurses brought my legs up as I just wanted to get these babies out. "Alright Miok, I'm gonna ask you to give me a big push." The doctor asked making me give it all I have.
"Ahh!!" I screamed, practically crushing Namjoon's hand.
"Good the first baby is crowning." The doctor said, making me push again feeling the baby get pulled out by the doctor. "It's a boy!"
I looked up at Namjoon who was smiling like a crazy person. "A boy!" I exclaimed, feeling pain again.
"Here comes baby number two." The doctor told me as I pushed again feeling exhausted. "Almost there."
