A Single Year in the Life of a Teenager (Editing)

12/25/16Hey people! Today was good I guess. Not much  happened, but nothing bad happened. We had to get up early to get to my  grandparent's house at a good time. It took us a couple hours to get  there and the car ride was pretty boring. I liked the music though. Once  we got there, I hugged my grandparents and we talked to each other. It  wasn't about anything important. Just to pass time until my aunt and  cousins got there. My older cousin couldn't make it because he had four  teeth pulled o he didn't really feel like coming. I didn't mind much,  and my other cousin didn't say much while she was there. She's  graduating early, and I don't think she's going to college. She does  want a full time job though. I don't know much about her anymore since  we don't talk. My aunt is always very nice and I liked seeing her. After  dinner, we opened envelopes that all of us knew had money in them. I  got a sizable amount from my grandparents, and some from my aunt. My  parents got my cousins gift cards. My parents got money too. While these  presents are more of an obligation, my grandparents still had to have  wanted to give us presents. Also when people give money, you know you'll  be able to spend it on whatever you want, so you'll definitely get  something you like for yourself. We  went home a few hours later in the rain. It was raining pretty hard,  but it didn't seem to bother my dad. Mom and I are planning to go to the  zoo tomorrow since it's going to be a bit warmer. I'm also going to do a  bit more shopping (for my friend that I won't see until we get back to  school) because I didn't have time before Christmas. I don't think anything else will happen in the few hours I stay up so goodnight people!12/26/16Hey  people! I went to the zoo with my mom today. It was pretty warm outside  considering it's winter, so it seemed like the best time. I got two  different dolphin t-shirts, which book look wonderful. I also got a  present for someone since I knew I had to get them something (to spoil  them) since I am an honorary aunt. I also need to get a present for my  friend, so I'll probably get that tomorrow. I  think I'll go to the mall tomorrow so that I can get a couple gifts and  have fun. But I also have Taekwondo so I can't spend the whole day  there. I don't think I would want to, but still. I also didn't have  tutoring since it's the day after Christmas. I didn't mind much since I  was having fun at the zoo. I played some Pokémon today too,  since I could finally start the game for real. Sadly, my DS needed to be  charged. I'm probably not going to do much else today, so I'm going to  say goodnight people!12/27/16Hello  people! Today I had some fun with Ashley, since we went to the mall. She  still needed to but her secret Santa gift and since we're exchanging  gifts at the end of the week she needed to do it ASAP. While she was  buying stuff (mostly) for her person, I got a Nightmare Before Christmas  t-shirt, Nightmare Before Christmas gloves, and some leggings. We  also went to a store and tried on some dresses just because. Since I'm  not very keen on dresses my rule was I tried one on if Ashley tried one  on. I will describe the dresses but wanting I don't know fashion terms  so it's going to be pretty rough to describe fully. The first one I  tried on was a strapless blue dress. The top part was blue and the skirt  was more poofy and had sparkles and white fabric mixed in it. It looked  very fairy like and I really did like it. It was too bad that I had  already spent basically all my money beforehand. The second dress was  black with lace over it. This had sleeves that were designed to be off  the shoulder and I liked this one too. The was the first time since 8th grade that I liked store made dresses that I put on. It was pretty nice. After  dropping off Ashley at her house once we were done shopping, I went  home to relax and eat dinner. I went to Taekwondo which was pretty fun  as usual. Demo team tryouts are in a week so we were practicing the form  that Clumsy (who is back for Christmas and break and such) created.  Clumsy already told me though that I was on the demo team and it made me  very happy. Ashley said that she might come, but she got a migraine so  she couldn't. I kind of wish she would stop telling me the days she was  planning on coming so I wouldn't be looking forward to it and instead be  happily surprised when she actually did. Well, anyways I'm going to sleep in tonight and be happy tomorrow and study for finals. Goodnight people!12/28/16Hey  people! Today was a quiet day. I finally got to start studying. That's  most of what was going on today, and it gave me time to relax. I really  needed today since I have been going places all break or doing things.  Today I had time to breathe which was very much needed. Nothing very new today. I played lots of Pokémon today too. I think that was about it. Goodnight people!12/29/16Hey  people! Today was pretty fun. My dad and I went to go see a movie in  theaters. It was a pretty great movie, even if it was meant for younger  kids. I still enjoyed it. I also got to text my friends and get all the  final details for Samm's sleepover tomorrow. We're going to exchange  secret Santa presents too. Sadly, Mara can't come so her surprise will  be kinda ruined, but it's okay. As long as we all got gifts for each  other and have fun at the sleepover it'll be fine. I'm  excited for this sleepover, especially because this is the first  sleepover we're having at Samm's house. I bet it will be great and fun. Well, I should probably sleep. Goodnight people!12/30/16Hey  people! Today is the first day Of Samm's sleepover. It's been really  fun so far. We exchanged presents and I got some candy. Splash was the  person for my secret Santa, and I got her a shirt that says "Mischief  Managed". She really liked it which was good. I'm not going to say what  everyone else got or from who because it will completely ruin the  secrecy of who got Mara's present. I'm giving it to her possibly next  week if we have time to hang out. I hope we do. We  ate pizza and lit glow sticks up that Splash brought. She always has  glow sticks which are completely wonderful. We also played some games on  our phone with each other. I also played Pokémon because I gotta catch  'em all. We played things like truth or dare and evil apples both of  which we used apps for and people could opt out for a different dare or  truth just in case it was something they weren't comfortable. This was  the first time I was okay with playing truth or dare. The reason that I  never play any other time is because 1) it can get super sexual and I am  not that comfortable doing anything like that and 2) I haven't had my  first kiss so I'd rather not have it in a stupid game. It doesn't need  to be special, I just want to choose when I have my first kiss. I don't  want to be forced. Ashley couldn't stay overnight which we  were all sad about. We still had fun while she was there. It's getting  pretty late so we should probably go to bed. Goodnight people!12/31/16Hey  people! Eventually we all woke up and played some more games before  breakfast. When we did eat breakfast it was pancakes and sausages. I had  orange juice too. It tasted pretty good. We went back up stairs and  talked for awhile, but soon it was time for Splash to leave. We all said  our goodbyes to her and hugged her before she left. I left about an  hour after that, and said goodbye to Samm. Once  I got home I started studying since I didn't have too much time to  study on Thursday. I even signed up for service hours for tomorrow so I  could be exempt from my theology final. I just hope he accepts them. I  think he will, but I'll find out when I get back to school. I've  finished studying for now. I might study a bit later since I have until  midnight tonight. My dad has to work tonight, so it'll just be me and  my mom. I feel a bit sad because my parents won't be able to kiss at  midnight. I don't know why I'm sad, but it's just that they've done it  every year, and now they can't. I don't care that I don't get a kiss at  midnight but I guess I care more about my parents for this. I guess  it'll be okay. I'll talk to you people a bit later.----------------------------Well,  it is now past midnight so I'll say Happy New Year, hopefully it will  be better than 2016. The rest of my day was uneventful, except that  Ashley and Splash will be joining me for service stuff tomorrow. I'm not  doing a New Years resolution because I know that I won't stick to it,  and it feels forced. The day shouldn't make me make a promise to improve  myself in some way. That should come from inside me. I need to sleep now so I can get up early tomorrow for this service stuff. Goodnight people!
